After a short walk to the starting point of the temple you have the option to go down (a lot of) stairs where we met a local military looking guy that took us a little further through an extremely small rural village to the border of Thailand and Cambodia and they offered us a seat to rest and showed us the fence and razor wire on the border and told us about the recent conflict with Thailand on the border. #givethanks #givethanks
