The sheer grandeur of the ancient temple, coupled with its stunning location, made for an unforgettable journey. Koh Ker Temple, situated in Preah Vihear province, has been recognized as a remarkable part of Cambodia's monumental heritage by UNESCO. Found in Srayong commune, Kulen district, Preah Vihear province, it is approximately 120 km away from Siem Reap. This temple is surrounded by dense jungle and is located in a sparsely populated area. Within an 81 square kilometer protected zone, over 180 sanctuaries have been discovered. Koh Ker is positioned amidst the Kulen and Dangrek mountains, offering picturesque views of rolling hills with varying heights ranging from 70 to 110 meters.
