Introducing the places visited on the second day 🌳 📍 Heritage Lodge in the Daintree Since we stayed here, we started the day by exploring the tropical rainforest within the accommodation grounds 🌿. The river water was crystal clear and beautiful, creating a Jurassic Park-like atmosphere. 📍 Noah Beach A stunning and expansive beach that was incredibly quiet due to the lack of people ⛱️. It felt like having a private beach 🐚. 📍 Madja Boardwalk A boardwalk surrounded by mangroves! You can enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind, engaging all your senses with nature while having a fun stroll. 📍 Mossman Gorge Although the water was a bit chilly in July, it would feel amazing during summer! Highly recommended for water activities. You can park your car at the facility, and from the entrance to the gorge, there’s a shuttle service costing $15 per person for a round trip. 📍 Trinity Bay Lookout You can enjoy breathtaking views of Four Mile Beach from above. The scenery here is truly stunning, making it a must-visit spot 🌞. 📍 Rex Smeal Park We waited for the sunset in this open space 🧡. Here, you can watch the sun set over the ocean. Since there are many ants, it’s recommended to bring something to sit on. After watching the sunset, we headed back to the city 🚗. Be cautious as the mountain roads can be dark ^_^.

Stayed at the #SheratonPortDouglasHotel, one of the premier hotels in northern Queensland, Australia, and was very lucky to be upgraded to the very high-end "Presidential Suite with One Bedroom Lagoon View". The suite is very large, covering approximately 152 square meters, with a separate living and bedroom, a luxurious large living room, a bathtub that is perfect for Internet celebrities, and the most amazing poolside terrace. The hardware and environment are extremely luxurious. The hotel is located on 147 hectares of tropical gardens and green land. It has an excellent geographical location, a golf course, and an extra-large and beautiful lagoon swimming pool. The clear blue water reflects the milky white resort hotel, which is very beautiful. There is also a private beach belonging to the hotel, and the port for taking a boat to the Great Barrier Reef is also very close by car. Five-star hotels are not cheap. The cheapest double room with garden view for two people, including breakfast, will cost more than ten thousand! I searched the price of the upgraded presidential suite and found out it was priced at over $50,000. I was really shocked! Queensland Beach is really beautiful, with blue coast and sunshine all over. Wow, Port Douglas feels like living in dream! This dreamy town really surprised me by it’s beauty. This town is all about relaxation, really tropical yet casual. Whether you’re looking for adventure or looking to chill out on the beach this seaside town has something for everyone! I only stayed here for 1 night as my trip didn’t allow to extend at the time but I so wished I had been able to stay here for a few weeks. Four mile beach was my favorite - but not because of what you may think. We found a dog rescue centre where you can help take the dogs for a walk and give them some love. (Really dog is a man’s best friend) It was so great to be able to do something so small that I really enjoyed! The beach isn’t heavily sandy, so it’s great for jogging - and the sea breeze was just perfect! Next time I go to Australia, I will be back to Port Douglas for sure! 📍Rent a car from Brisbane or other city and drive at your own pace to North Queensland. To find the purer waters of the Great Barrier Reef, from Cairns all the way north, 70 kilometers away, Port Douglas Port Douglas sailed. In the northern outer Great Barrier Reef, I met Agincourt Reef, Akincourt Outer Reef. In another blue dream of forgetting to breathe, said good night.

Port Douglas is such a magical place: along the Captain Cooks road, all the way to the end of the rainforest, and the vast expanse of the wilderness, plus a little sea blue embellishment, all kinds of wonders gather here. A picturesque place. Because the scenery here is beautiful and beautiful, it has attracted many celebrities to come and find out, and has attracted many visionary investment developers to carry forward the natural characteristics here. Really enjoyed my stay. I had a large lounge and a balcony area with a jacuzzi. Location is perfect with four mile beach in one direction and the majority of restaurants / shops / bars in the other direction within easy reach of the main drag, Macrossan Street. My visit came after a 3 week holiday in Australia and this was a perfect place to relax. Cairns airport was easily accessible via the Captain Cook Highway just over an hour away by car.

I enjoyed a great walking trail in Port Douglas giving a great view of the spectacular 4 mile beach.

#AprilBlooms Exploring the charming tropical town of Port Douglas led me to this cozy café street where locals and travelers gather. From fresh seafood to Thai food and amazing iced lattes, it’s a perfect chill spot under the sun. The flowers blooming along the sidewalk added the perfect spring vibe. Located 70 km north of Cairns, Queensland, Port Douglas is a major gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and a high-end resort destination combining ocean, rainforest, and beaches. In addition to Cairns, it's another great option for accommodation when visiting the Great Barrier Reef, or as a stopover on the way to the Daintree Rainforest. The harbor boasts stunning scenery, with Palm Cove being named the "World's Best Beach" for 2024. The town offers a wide variety of restaurants and exudes a tropical ambiance, making it a true vacation paradise.

There are direct flights from Japan to Cairns, but surprisingly there are no Marriott group hotels, and they are located in Port Douglas, about an hour away. Anyway, the pool area on the premises is huge!! The 2-hectare lagoon-style pool surrounded by palm trees is filled with water drawn from the sea... but it wasn't seawater. The color of the bottom is beautiful and when you take a photo it looks like it's floating! We even got a welcome drink at the pool bar 🤍 The hotel is a little old, but overall it's clean and cute. The atmosphere of the rooms is also very cute. It was nice to stay in a room with direct access to the pool. Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas is a luxurious resort with a vast lagoon pool and a tropical atmosphere 🏨🌴 About an hour's drive from Cairns, after passing through Palm Tree Avenue, a paradise-like space spreads out before us ✨ The biggest attraction of the hotel is the lagoon pool, which is over 2 hectares 🏊♀️🌊 We stayed in a "Lagoon Room" with direct access to the pool from the room, so we enjoyed the resort atmosphere by soaking in the water from the morning! We had breakfast at the restaurant "Feast" at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort in Port Douglas✨ It was a luxurious buffet where you could spend your morning leisurely in an open atmosphere full of resort feeling🍽️🌿 The buffet contents were very substantial, with a wide variety of fresh tropical fruits🍍🥭, freshly baked bread🥐, omelets🍳 at the egg station, and avocado toast🥑 that is typical of Australia! In addition, there were cold meals with salmon, cheese, and ham, all of which were of high quality✨ At the outdoor terrace seats, you can eat while looking at the lagoon pool that spreads out in front of you, and you feel like you are in a tropical paradise🌺☀️ The staff's service was also excellent, and I had a very satisfying time from the morning! #getgoing2025 As the name suggests, this golden strip of sand stretches for roughly four miles along North Queensland’s tropical coastline. The biscuit-coloured sands are wedged between sparkling blue waters and a tropical backdrop of palm trees, which separates the beach from the adjacent town of Port Douglas. Unlike some of Australia’s better known beaches, such as Bondi and Surfers Paradise, this one’s not so tourist-focused, and as such there’s not a whole load of chain restaurants and shops close by. Perfect if you’re looking for an idyllic paradise spot, but not so much if you’re a fan of the crowds and the surf scene. That said, you can still get stuck into some watersports - kite surfing’s a particular favourite in this part of Queensland, with Four Mile Beach considered to be one of the best spots for it in the state.
