Ziwuyu, Xi'an, Shaanxi | Do you remember who came up with the Ziwuyu plan?
📍 Ziwuyu Introduction:
Ziwuyu, a hidden gem in Chang'an District, Xi'an, was an important ancient transportation route connecting Shu and Han. During Zuo Zongtang's tenure as Governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, it underwent significant restoration.
🚗 How to Get There:
For residents and students in Chang'an District, a taxi ride from Chang'an University Town takes about 30 minutes and costs around CNY 24. It's convenient and fast.
Alternatively, you can start from Weiqu South Station on the subway, which also takes about 30 minutes.
🕒 Estimated Time:
The entire hike up and down the mountain takes about 8 hours, perfect for a full day of adventure.
🌟 Highlights:
The scenery along the way is picturesque, and the air is fresh and pleasant. When the flowers on the mountain bloom, it adds a splash of color. Whether it's the early spring tung flowers or the late spring redbuds, they enhance the journey.
⚠️ Safety Tips:
1️⃣ Safety First: Ziwuyu is a semi-wild mountain. Although there are signs, there are no stairs or other facilities, so there are certain risks. It is not recommended to bring children.
2️⃣ Food Supply: Bring enough water and some snacks, such as bananas, to quickly replenish energy when tired.
3️⃣ Route Choice: We recommend taking the blue line up and the yellow line down. The ascent is steep, while the descent is relatively gentle.
4️⃣ Equipment Preparation: Wear long pants, a hat, and long sleeves. In summer, prepare sun protection clothing to prevent mosquito bites.
5️⃣ Shuttle Bus Information: The shuttle bus from the foot of the mountain to Jinxian Temple is not easy to catch, so those with poor physical strength should consider carefully.
🐑 Other Tips:
During the hike, you may encounter sheep, cats, dogs, and other animals. They are friendly, so don't worry.
