Room Check-in: Arrive at the hotel at 2 PM on the first day, check in, take a quick shower, change clothes, and then go to Wan Feng Lake nearby for some fun. Parking is convenient, either in front of the hotel or on the underground first floor.
Buffet Dinner: As one of the best buffets in Zhuzhou, the 'Zhen' all-day buffet at Zhuzhou Midea Marriott Hotel is quite impressive. The quality of the food is excellent, with fresh seafood, fresh meat, and hot pot. My favorite is their desserts.
Fitness and Swimming: After enjoying the rich food, you can go to the gym and swimming pool for a swim or workout. The swimming pool has a large pool and a small pool, with the small pool at 35 degrees Celsius and the large pool at 30 degrees Celsius. Swimming in winter is warm and comfortable.
Buffet Breakfast: Rice noodles, coffee, milk, bread, and cakes.

Marriott in Zhuzhou, great value for money!
Zhuzhou's beautiful Marriott, almost like having a view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Went to Zhuzhou during the Chinese New Year. Since we drove to Changsha and wanted to avoid the heavy traffic on the way back, we stayed in Zhuzhou for two days.
The suite is really spacious, with a whole living and dining area, enough to set up a meal with eight dishes and one soup. The style is somewhat retro-European, which might seem a bit too much by today's standards. But it's still quite comfortable to stay in. The only downside is that the bathroom tends to leak water into the restroom, making it easy to slip, so you need to keep a floor mat to absorb the water.
The food is average, with some local specialties like stir-fried chicken and stewed pig's trotters.
There's not much to see around, just a small supermarket. But there's a nice Hunan restaurant behind the hotel, where the use of spice is very restrained, and the taste is good.

The guest rooms offer a panoramic view of Shennong City and the surrounding landscape, with the spa and fitness center located on the 5th floor of the hotel. The hotel features an indoor constant temperature swimming pool, steam and sauna rooms🧖♂️
🍽Dining Recommendations: Zhen all-day dining restaurant offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, homemade yogurt, salads🥗, cheese platters, and bread pudding🍮 served in a tin box for hygiene. The Chinese menu is small, but the noodles are quite delicious.
🛏Room Facilities: The linen is from Canasin, and the mattresses are from King Koil. The pillows and bedding are of appropriate thickness, protectiveness, and support. In terms of sanitary ware, the toilet brand is Grohe, and the showerheads, bathtubs, faucets, and washbasins are from Kohler. The bathroom has a dry-wet separation, a fast-heating constant temperature shower, and a smooth drainage system, with an electric shower curtain. There is a UPS uninterrupted power supply and sockets compatible with international plugs. The Philips multifunctional alarm clock placed by the bed also serves as a radio and smart speaker, and its dual base design supports audio sharing for two mobile phones simultaneously.
🏝Surrounding Environment: A 10-minute drive from Shennong City, and 16 minutes to Zhuzhou West Station. From the hotel's underground parking lot, a 5-minute walk leads directly to Midea Times Square and Metro. Now there are more restaurants and beverage shops in the vicinity, and after dining, a 10-minute walk will take you to Leisure Valley for a stroll.

Budget travelers take note! This affordable hotel is a great place to stay
The hotel lounge, guest rooms, and front desk staff are all very friendly. I worked overtime at the hotel, so I didn't get to experience the gym and pool. The stay was still fantastic, and I will choose this place again when I come back to this area.
There was a minor incident during my stay; the hotel was undergoing maintenance on the top floor. During the day, there was some construction noise in the rooms, but the hotel had signs indicating that the construction would be completed by December 31, 2023. If you're staying now, the construction has ended.
tips: Regarding the choice between Zhuzhou Marriott and Hilton,
Scenery: Hilton definitely wins, with its therapeutic views of the Xiangjiang River, while Marriott just offers a typical city view.
Breakfast: Marriott is better than Hilton.
Lounge: Both are similar, but the cocktails made by the Hilton's young lady are delicious.
