Who was the blame for taking my baby to the Lotus Hotel in Xiangshawan during the summer vacation in July?
I just came back from Hohhot during the summer vacation and took my baby to Desert Disney.
Thoughts about Lotus Hotel
√ Arrive at the Lotus Hotel in the morning and check in first. After putting your luggage in the storage room, go directly to the amusement park. At 3 or 4pm in the afternoon, you will go back to the hotel to rest when you are tired.
√ If you stay at the Lotus Hotel, you can take the Express Express on Xiansha Island without queuing, so on day 1, go to Xiansha Island at noon, and on day 2, go to Yuesha Island in the morning when there are fewer people.
√The entire hotel is divided into 3 areas, Jinlian District, Honglian District, and Zilian District. We can see the beautiful sunset in the Jinlian District where we live in the evening.
√After checking in, you will wear a bracelet, use it to dine and experience various items for free!
Share with you our itinerary
Day1 Hohhot - check into the hotel → Saishang Old Street
The group we signed up for has an airport pick-up service, so we can be dropped off directly so we don’t have to worry about not being able to get a car~
√The hotel we stayed in was a 5-diamond hotel. The service and environment were very good. We went to visit Saishang Old Street, which is antique and charming. Day 2 Zhaojun Museum → Ulan Hada Volcano → Volcano B&B
√I have heard the story of Zhaojun’s expedition to the fortress since I was a child. How can I not bring my children to visit Zhaojun Museum? Not only can I experience the history and culture, but I can also bring my children to experience wearing ancient costumes and participate in handicrafts~
√In the afternoon, we set off to Ulan Hada Volcano. Volcano No. 6 is the most beautiful. You can wear astronaut costumes to take photos. We also took our children to experience horse riding and camel riding. This was the first time at the volcanic lake hahaha
day3 Volcano→Xiansha Island in Xiangshawan→Lotus Hotel
√ Let’s check in first in the morning, store our luggage and then have fun in Xiangsha Bay! Xiansha Island has many desert activities, and the order we enjoyed Amway is camel riding - zip line - off-road vehicle - hump roller coaster - Xiangsha Bay Bell Peak (this project allows you to see the scenery of the whole island, it is fun and suitable for taking pictures
)
day4 Xiangshawan Yuesha Island→Ordos Grassland→Mongolian yurt
√We queued up before ten o'clock. For such a beautiful swimming pool and sand dunes, we had to take pictures first while there were fewer people. Wearing brighter clothes will make the photo more interesting~ Water Flying - Water Flying
Saucer-flying boat, you can play these three projects without wearing a raincoat.
√ Let’s go to the grassland in the afternoon. Summer vacation is when the grassland is the greenest!!! Come and play during the summer vacation! The blue sky, white clouds and green grassland are so healing~
day5 grassland→return to Hohhot
√After breakfast, we took the kids to the grassland to play archery and grass skiing, which were very interesting grassland activities. Watching the real-life equestrian events was so shocking!

The museum's treasures include: Warring States period gold crown ornament with an eagle top, Han dynasty bronze stove with dragon head, Liao dynasty painted wooden coffin, Liao dynasty princess gold mask, and Jun kiln 'Xiao Song Zizao' incense burner. Once leaving the purple terraces, it connects to the vast desert, leaving only the green tomb facing the dusk
Wang Zhaojun, one of China's four great beauties known as the 'fallen goose', has her ceremonial mound in Hohhot, which is accessible by bus. The first thing you see is the Zhaojun Museum, where you can enter by showing your ID card. Inside, the museum provides a detailed introduction to Zhaojun's history, not only the widely known stories but also those less known to the public. After visiting the museum, there are also exhibits on the history of the Heqin marriage alliance, the Chanyu's great tent, Zhaojun's hometown, the green tomb, and a 5D exhibition. However, visitors are not allowed to enter the green tomb; they can only view it from below. Nonetheless, seeing a scene from my textbooks still made me very happy!

A monument of ethnic friendship - the Tomb of Wang Zhaojun
The Tomb of Wang Zhaojun (Wang Zhaojun Museum), also known as "Qing Tomb", is the tomb of Wang Zhaojun, a concubine of the Han Dynasty recorded in historical books and folk tales. It was built during the Western Han Dynasty and has been around for more than 2000 years, making it one of the largest Han tombs in China.
In addition to this location, it is said that there are more than a dozen Wang Zhaojun tombs on the southern foot of Daqing Mountain. There has been no archaeological excavation at the Wang Zhaojun tomb site, and there are related tombs or robe tombs in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan and other places.
The Tomb of Wang Zhaojun in Hohhot has been expanded and renovated, forming three major areas: the new museum area, the mausoleum area, and the garden area (mainly lawns, various trees and ornamental flowers).
The main building of the new museum area is like two pyramids, connected by a central corridor to form a 'he' shape, which is currently the first museum in the world to showcase Xiongnu culture.
Mausoleum area: There are Qing Tomb, Divine Road, and ancient Chinese marriage hall, 5D cinema (not open), Chanyu's big tent (not open), Wang Zhaojun's old home site (under construction), etc.
Garden area: A place for leisure and rest, mainly with lawns, various trees and ornamental flowers.
Highlights of Wang Zhaojun's Tomb:
1. Qing Tomb: One of the better-preserved large Han tombs in China
2. Marriage bronze statue: Reappears the harmonious affection between the Han and Mongolian peoples
3. Qing Tomb Archway: Imitating Han architecture, with inscriptions by Ulanfu
4. Dong Biwu's inscription stele
