Yuquan Temple, also known as Gushan Temple, commonly known as Foye Temple, is located at the northern foot of Gushan Mountain in Daiyin. It was founded by the Northern Wei monk Yi Shi during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. After it went through ups and downs, only the ruins remain. The current Yuquan Temple was rebuilt in 1993. The temple enshrines clay statues of Sakyamuni and the Eighteen Arhats, with different expressions and lifelike. The temple has towering ancient monuments and towering ginkgo trees, giving it an ancient temple style. There is an ancient spring in the east of the temple, with sweet spring water. An ancient stele is embedded beside the spring, with the two characters "Yuquan" written in official script by Jin Dang Huaiying. There is an "acre of pine" on the hill behind the temple, with a tree canopy like a shed, full of vitality.
