✈️ Transportation
1. Airplane: Fly directly from Changsha Huanghua International Airport to Huangshan Tunxi International Airport. The flight takes about 1.5 hrs. After arrival, you can take the airport shuttle bus to downtown Huangshan and transfer to Huangshan Scenic Area. You can also take a taxi directly, which costs about CNY 150–200 and takes about 1 hr.
2. High-speed Rail: Take the high-speed train from Changsha South Railway Station to Huangshan North Railway Station. The journey takes about 4 hrs. After arriving at Huangshan North Railway Station, take a special bus to Huangshan Scenic Area at the bus station. The ticket price is around CNY 20, and the journey takes about 1 hr 20 mins.
🏠 Accommodation
1. At the foot of Huangshan: We recommend staying in Tangkou Town, where there are many hotels and guesthouses with reasonable prices. It's convenient for entering the mountain early the next morning, and there are many places to eat and buy hiking supplies nearby.
2. On the mountain: If you want to see the sunrise and sunset, you can choose to stay on the mountain. Baiyun Hotel is in a good location, making it convenient to watch the sunrise from Guangming Peak. Paiyunlou Hotel is close to many scenic spots, making it convenient to visit the West Sea Grand Canyon. However, accommodation on the mountain is more expensive, so it is recommended to book in advance.

1. Huangshan Sesame Seed Cake: Crispy on the outside and savory on the inside, filled with preserved vegetables and pork. It's super satisfying with every bite, and you can buy it both inside and outside the scenic area.
2. Smelly Mandarin Fish: Smells stinky but tastes delicious. The fish is tender and has a unique flavor after being marinated. Many restaurants in Huangshan serve authentic smelly mandarin fish.
3. Hairy Tofu: Covered with a layer of white fuzz, it is pan-fried and served with a special sauce. It has a rich taste and a unique flavor.
4. ❣️ Food Streets: Liyang in Alley, Tunxi Old Street. We recommend Huangshan double treasures (rock partridge and rock tripe) and Wenzheng Mountain bamboo shoots.
