♥️ Plan a trip to Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do this weekend! Here's a one-day travel course for exploring Gongju.
💙 Morning: Yuguseokdong Hydrangea Garden
Enjoy the hydrangea festival held in the garden during summer. The festival runs from late June to early July, offering a beautiful display of hydrangeas.
💛 After spending your morning at the garden, head to Magoksa Temple. Experience the serene atmosphere of this thousand-year-old temple and cool off by the stream nearby. It’s a perfect way to find peace of mind. Then, enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant near Magoksa Temple. The mountain vegetable bibimbap is a must-try!
💕 After lunch, take a break at a café before heading to Seokjangni Museum. This spot is especially recommended if you’re traveling with kids. Instead of outdoor activities under the scorching sun, spend time indoors at the museum. It’s a meaningful way to beat the heat and learn something new.
💙 After the museum, visit Gongju Forest Recreation Area. Take a stroll along the trails and enjoy the scenic views. You can also catch a fountain show there.
💕 A day packed with activities in Gongju. Make this summer unforgettable with a trip to Gongju😉

A place where you can enjoy hydrangeas in a quiet and leisurely manner! Yugu Hydrangea Festival
#Heart-pounding summer vacation #Domestic travel #Nonsan travel #Ganggyeong travel
🌸 Yugu Hydrangea Festival
The Yugu Hydrangea Festival opens and ends in mid-June,
but the hydrangeas continue to bloom
so you can enjoy the beautifully blooming flowers
a little more leisurely until early July!
It looks small, but it's bigger than you think
and it's so nice to walk around
so if you go to Gongju just for this, you might regret it, but it would be good to visit nearby cities (Buyeo, Nonsan, etc.) together!!
It's a shame that you have to use a car 🥺
I recommend drivingㅎㅎ
It takes about 2 hours from Seoul!!
And I'll introduce you to a great restaurant in nearby Nonsan..
It's really delicious!!
I've been to many sushi restaurants in the metropolitan area
but for this price range, this quality and taste... this is the best!
🍣 Ganggyeong Ikkyo
This is it.. I especially recommend the futomaki!! It's really delicious, no words needed..
But the store is small, so I recommend take-out!
