Kurimata no Isen|Yoro Valley Autumn Foliage Viewing
Yoro Valley is known as the "latest autumn leaves in Kanto", but the best time to view the leaves is always later. Here, you can still catch the tail end of autumn in mid-December.
Kurimata Falls is the best place to enjoy the autumn leaves in Yoro Valley. Unlike traditional waterfalls that flow rapidly, Kurimata-no-Yaki flows slowly. The stream flows gently and the valley is dyed red by the autumn colors.
This is a great place for hiking. You can walk along the trails covered with red leaves and slowly admire the forest that has not been trimmed by humans. Japanese tourists came in groups of three or four, and when they were tired they drank coffee on the rocks by the stream. Now that I’m middle-aged, I have no choice but to soak wolfberries in a thermos cup [Sob].
