In my honest and personal opinion, this city is way better than Tokyo. Landmark Tower is fancy. It has restos, high end shops and nearby tourist spots make scenic views from this vantage point. Superb centrally located hotel within the Yokohama bay area, surrounded by many shopping areas and entertainment areas. The rooms are large and ultra clean. The Yokohama Landmark Tower was the tallest building in Japan from 1993 to 2013. It is now the second tallest building in Japan (after Abeno Harukas) and the fifth tallest structure. Construction began on March 20, 1990, and the building opened on July 16, 1993. The first 49 floors are used for offices and retail, floors 49 to 70 are used as a hotel, and the 69th floor is an observation deck. The building is 273m tall. The Yokohama Landmark Tower once had the third fastest elevator in the world, with a speed of 750m per minute (45 km/h), second only to the Taipei 101 Observatory elevator and the Tokyo Skytree. The Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden is located on the 69th floor of the Yokohama Landmark Tower. It is a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yokohama. It is a landmark of Yokohama because it is the 30th tallest building in the world, standing at 296m. The Sky Garden is a 360-degree observation tower, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yokohama Bay and the surrounding area from the 69th floor. It takes only 40 seconds to move from the 2nd floor lobby to the open-air platform, equipped with the fastest elevator in the world, for an extraordinary experience. When you reach the Sky Garden, you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day, with a very wide view.

At Yokohama Langmark Tower Plaza, there is a pop up store featuring Spark Joy Christmas, where there are gifts and souvenirs featuring Disney characters. There are so many items for selection and you can hardly make decisions as they are so nice and aytractive. This time, the main characters featured is of course Mickey Mouse, Toy Story, Frozen, Moana and Star Wars. Do go and take a look for gifts to be prepared.

The staff are very attentive and courteous but the main advantage of this hotel over all the other hotels is the view. The hotel is the second tallest building in Japan and the hotel rooms begin on the 60th floor, Ours was on the 63rd and we could not fault it. The middle floors are offices and the lower floors are taken up by the massive shopping mall.which includes many restaurants and boutique shops.

#2024wish Unlike many observation decks, this is cheap, quick to visit, and offers a spectacular view of Yokohama and the Tokyo skyline in the distance. The 360 degree views of the city and surrounds is fantastic. There is a café where you can get a drink and snacks; as well as a gift shop to purchase momentoes. The 69th floor Yokohama Landmark Tower Sky Garden is a must for anyone visiting Yokohama. I want to visit this tower again in 2024.

A spectacular building, both hotel offices. Everything about it, world renowned. This is a must visit when you come to Yokohama. If you don't visit Yokohama you are missing some of the best part of Japan in my opinion. a splendid view down to the city of yokohama and its harbor. the viewing platform is at almost 295m altitude, actually the 5th highest building in japan, built between 1990-93. I recommend to go up like 45-60min before sunset, to enjoy the utmost spectacular lights and views. the entrance fee for a single adult is ¥1200. there is also a snack bar and a little library up there and different seats to rest and enjoy the view to all directions. #2024wish

Giving you pictures of the 4th tallest building in Japan! Saw this twice because I visited Yokohama twice. Yokohama Landmark Tower is located in Minato Mirai 21 district. It has become a symbol of Yokohama, so, it is a must-see place when one visits Yokohama. This building houses a lot of companies, for one, it has a 5-star hotel inside. Moreso, it has an observatory garden on top that offers a 360-view of the city. It was terribly unlucky when we went there because it was super cloudy, and everyone said that we will just waste our money if we go to the observatory deck, so we just didn't go anymore. #wintergetaway
