Yinggeshi Botanical Garden is the first professional botanical garden in Dalian that integrates sightseeing and leisure, flower and wood display and science education. Now the tulip is open, there are 14 plant special gardens such as Zhiying Garden, Peony Garden, Tulip Garden, Tao Garden and Haitang Garden, ranking first in the Botanical Garden in Northeast China. 🌸Peach Blossoms (Pic 2) Flowering Period: Late March to early April Location: Diamond Bay, Huanghe Road Bus Stop Peach blossoms are among the earliest bloomers. The ones at Diamond Bay have the sea as a backdrop, stunning on a sunny day. The ones at Huanghe Road Bus Stop offer a refreshing vibe, with a view from the overpass. 🌸Apricot Blossoms (Pic 3) Flowering Period: Early to mid-April Location: Daheishan Mountain, Beima Mountain Villa, etc. Apricot blossoms are my personal favorite, with their elegant and cool colors, they look great in any photo. Besides these large flower viewing spots, there are many apricot trees in our community. Sometimes when I'm too lazy to go far, I can enjoy the flowers just downstairs. 🌸Crabapple Blossoms (Pic 4) Flowering Period: Around April 20th Location: Streets throughout the city The crabapple trees here are large and photogenic, with Dalian's old houses in the background, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. It's a pity I went late last year and many petals had already fallen. I must go earlier this year! 🌸Cherry Blossoms (Pic 5) Flowering Period: Single-petal: mid-to-late April, Double-petal: late April to early May Location: Labor Park, Longwangtang Cherry Blossom Garden, Lushun Cherry Blossom Garden Cherry blossoms need no introduction, they are always the top attraction in spring. I personally love Longwangtang, where the flowers are the most beautiful and there are more varieties. There are flowers blooming throughout the entire month from mid-April to mid-May. 🌸Rapeseed Flowers (Pic 6) Flowering Period: Late April to early May Location: Shifa Farmhouse Restaurant There is a large field of rapeseed flowers there, with a clean background. When I went, it seemed like they charged five yuan per person for taking photos. The downside is that it's a bit remote and more suitable for self-driving. 🌸Daisies (Pic 7) Flowering Period: Early May Location: Tangli Lake Tangli Lake is beautiful in May, with mountains, lakes, flowers, grass, gentle breezes, and warm sunshine. Every casual shot is a picturesque scene. 🌸Moss Phlox (Pic 8) Flowering Period: Mid-May Location: Yinggeshi Botanical Garden The moss phlox covering the hills is incredibly beautiful, with gradient colors of pink and purple, romantic enough to make your heart flutter. 🌸Roses (Pic 9) Flowering Period: Late May to early June Location: Nanshan Scenic Area, Wanghai Street Many streets in Dalian have rose walls, but the most beautiful ones are near Wanghai Street. The old villas and cascading roses are a perfect match, with both red and pink varieties. 🌸Coreopsis (Pic 10) Flowering Period: Early June Location: Amber Bay Coreopsis can be found in many places, but the patch at Amber Bay is the most popular. It's located on a cliff by the sea, allowing you to capture the ocean as a backdrop. The color scheme and scenery are both exceptional. 🌸Hydrangeas/Endless Summer (Pic 11) Flowering Period: June-August Location: Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden I absolutely love hydrangeas. There are many of them, and many are planted on slopes, creating a beautiful undulating landscape that's perfect for photos. Also, the annual pass for Yinggeshi is quite worthwhile, as there are many flowers and plants to photograph throughout the year. 🌸Lotus Flowers (Pic 12) Flowering Period: July-August Location: Qianguan Wetland Park, Labor Park, Hengshan Temple The elegant lotus flower, with its classic beauty! The ones at Qianguan Wetland Park are truly stunning, though it's a bit far. Within the city, Labor Park is also a good option.

Dalian rarely has sunflowers, let alone a large sea of flowers. This year, Yinggeshi Botanical Garden has satisfied us. Several varieties of sunflowers are in full bloom. The Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are the best viewing periods. You can come and check in during the holiday. The sunflowers in Yinggeshi Botanical Garden are not only large in area, but also have many varieties, including Teddy sunflowers in Van Gogh, and cream sunflowers, etc. In addition to sunflowers, hydrangeas, chrysanthemums, lilies, etc., there are many varieties of flowers that are also very gorgeous.
