Homy Residence ฮ่องกง
#tripbestfreeaccommodation #gayinthekitchen
Oh my gosh! Today, gay takes you to chill out at Homy Residence in Mong Kok, Kowloon side, Hong Kong. It feels like friends are inviting each other to stay overnight before going shopping at the night market. It's super easy to walk to the MTR. Let me tell you, this is a 750-word long review of a sleeping guide with a great chatting mood!

📍 Luxurious location but friendly price
• Address: 279 Shanghai Street, Yau Tsim Mong District, Kowloon, HKG
• Walk 3-5 minutes to MTR Yau Ma Tei or you can go to Mong Kok. It's near Temple Street Night Market, walk 3 minutes to arrive
• There are restaurants around, green cars/taxi are easy to park, no parking in the building, but parking on the side of the road is good.

🛋️ Chill atmosphere like a friend's house
When I first entered, I was shocked by how spacious the room was. Many people said, “spacious, like living in a cozy home.” And it really was. The room had wide-open windows, and the natural breeze blew gently, giving me the feeling of a friend’s home!
The cute staff who spoke English well gave me recommendations for places to visit and restaurants nearby, such as Jade Market, Nathan Road, and Temple Street. 24-hour service. I have to say they were super friendly!

🛏️ The room is my life!
Bedroom + Living room
• The room has a 1-bedroom suite (Queen + living room) or a Deluxe Triple for 3 friends.
• A small kitchen (kitchenette) with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, and a small cooking stove. If you want to have a picnic in the room, you can.
• The living room has a sofa, but it’s not to my liking. I heard that some people said that “uncomfortable couch” and a bit too few power outlets
Bathroom & Amenities
• Separate shower and toilet area, well adjusted, with a large mirror
• Hair dryer, complete amenities
• Free Wi-Fi, very cold air conditioning, after cleaning, I gave it a 9.4/10 Wi-Fi score

💡 Tips from gays to share
1. Book a 1-bedroom suite. If you come with many people, adults/children will be able to separate spaces easily.
2. If you want to leave the airport quickly, ask for an early check-in in advance as they say.
3. There are few plugs. It is recommended to bring a power strip + HK adapter.
4. On the first day of the ice-cold, drag a friend to reveal the Shell in Temple Street.

🎯 Review from gays, very clear summary
Homy Residence is a homey accommodation. It is clean, the rooms are spacious, the kitchen works, the staff are very friendly, and the location is good in all areas. Anyone who comes with a family, a gang of friends, or just one person, this is the most worthwhile. No breakfast but still full all the time. Who wants to chill before traveling?
