Inner Mongolia · Hohhot · Qingshui River Yao Gou Township Liuqing Village
Yao Gou Township is located in the middle section of the Jin-Shaan Grand Canyon in the southwestern part of Qingshui River County, facing Xuejiawan Town of Zhungeer Banner across the Yellow River. Due to the advantages of water, soil, and coal as materials, the history of porcelain firing here is long and continuous. Yao Gou Township, relying on its unique natural resources and historical remains, fully excavates cultural elements such as the Yellow River and ceramics, empowering the tourism industry. It has successively played three cards of 'protection, continuation, and revival', forging a high-quality development path that promotes tourism through culture. The township collects porcelain fired in the near modern era from all the villagers, displays them in the renovated ancient Hui Fang, accompanied by models of stone wheel discs used for making clay blanks and a brief introduction to the history of Qingshui River ceramic firing, presenting a miniature porcelain museum to the world.
Everything is travelable, and beauty is everywhere.
