Very interesting when you know the history of this place! You can clearly see North Korea on the other side. it's eerily quiet and dark, no moving vehicles, no noise.

The Yalu River Broken Bridge, a bridge that has experienced vicissitudes. This is the landmark of Dandong, which straddles the Yalu River and connects China and North Korea. After experiencing the baptism of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, one end of the bridge was broken, leaving only half.

Standing on the broken bridge, standing on the backbone of history.
In Dandong, the broken bridges are like silent giants, standing quietly above the surging river, telling the stories of the past.
The Yalu River Broken Bridge, the smoke of war made it incomplete. The steel bridge body is full of bullet holes and scars, which is the brand of history. Walking on the broken bridge, the iron plate under your feet makes a heavy sound, as if reminding people of the years of blood and fire. At the end of the bridge is the part that was bombed, which shows the cruelty of war to the world in a decisive posture. Standing on the bridge, looking at the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Yalu River, one side is a prosperous city, and the other side is a quiet exotic scenery, where history and reality are intertwined.
The Swallow Nest Railway Broken Bridge is relatively quieter. It is hidden in a natural beauty, surrounded by green trees and gurgling rivers. Although it has also suffered from the destruction of war, it has a different kind of vicissitudes of beauty. The rust on the bridge body seems to be a poem written by the years, recording the glory and suffering of the past. There is no excessive noise here, only the sound of the breeze, which makes people immersed in the contemplation of history.
The broken bridges in Dandong are monuments of history and witnesses of the years. They witnessed the cruelty of war, they are symbols of unyielding, reminding us to cherish the hard-won peace.

The Yalu River Broken Bridge is a truncated railway swing bridge converted to a viewing platform and historical site.
It was bombed by US military during the Korean War, and was never repaired.
The Yalu River Broken Bridge is one of the most famous landmarks in Dandong. It was the first bridge built across the Yalu River and connected the Chinese city of Dandong with the Korean city of Sinuiju. Opposite is North Korea, you can even peer through some binoculars for a few Yuan to take a closer look.

The Yalu River, originally a Chinese river, is now the boundary between China and North Korea. What we are seeing is this section of Dandong City, Liaoning Province. Came to the Yalu River and was blown by the wind on the riverside. The bridge on the left side of Figure 4 is the China-DPRK Friendship Railway Highway Bridge. There is a large driveway in the middle of the bridge and a sidewalk on both sides. On the left is the passage to North Korea, and on the right is the passage to China. It took ten minutes to get through the car to the 1980s. The bridge on the right was blown up by the US military that year. Now it is a broken bridge for far-away visits.
