Yagan Square!💞
In the heart of the city, you will find the square!!!!
It literally is a square that connects to everywhere, like the train station, bus station and cbd crossing street to some pubs and restaurants to Hay Street and Wellington.
A landmark you wouldn’t miss!
The square has a small kind of stadium where you can sit all day and no one’s gonna bother you! It’s being renovated, though for some reason the markets inside the building is not open to public aside from the few restaurants that opened earlier this month.

Yagan Square, nestled in the heart of Perth's vibrant city center, is a place where modernity meets tradition, and where the spirit of the past coexists with the energy of the present. My experience in Yagan Square was a journey of discovery, as I explored its diverse attractions and learned about its rich cultural significance.
As I entered Yagan Square, I was immediately struck by the dynamic blend of architecture and design that characterized the space. The sleek lines of the modern buildings contrasted with the natural elements of the landscaped gardens, creating a harmonious balance between urban sophistication and natural beauty.
One of the first things that caught my eye was the towering digital tower, a mesmerizing display of light and color that served as a focal point for the square. As I watched the ever-changing images and animations projected onto the tower's facade, I was reminded of the vibrant energy and creativity that permeated Yagan Square.
Next, I explored the Indigenous cultural precinct, where I encountered a variety of artworks and installations that celebrated the rich heritage of Australia's First Nations people. From striking sculptures and vibrant murals to interactive exhibits and storytelling spaces, the precinct offered a glimpse into the diverse cultures and traditions of Indigenous Australia.
One of the most moving experiences was visiting the statue of Yagan, a revered Noongar leader and warrior who played a pivotal role in the resistance against British colonization. Standing tall and proud, the statue served as a powerful symbol of resilience, courage, and the ongoing struggle for justice and reconciliation.
