🗓Temple Cabinet Hall:
Baolian Temple was first built during the Yongxing period of the Northern Wei Dynasty. It has a magnificent exterior and a splendid interior. It is a place of prayer for local people.
There are eight halls, two pavilions and one courtyard in the temple. The area is 16,400 square meters.

🗓Itinerary:
The first thing that catches your eye is the Bodhi Holy Lotus Square, which together with the Tongtian Tower forms the main central axis of the Pantao Mountain Buddhist Cultural Scenic Area.
→On both sides of the temple gate are the vegetarian noodle restaurants of Po Lin Monastery.
→The first hall is the Hall of Heavenly Kings, where Maitreya Buddha and the Four Heavenly Kings are enshrined.
→In the middle is the Main Hall, also known as the Seven Buddha Hall, which houses seven Buddha statues. There is also a mural depicting the 53 visits of the boy Sudhana.
→In the back half of the temple, there are the Manjusri Hall and the Samantabhadra Hall on the east and west sides, and the Tsutenkaku in the middle. There are many check-in spots next to Tsutenkaku, which are suitable for taking photos.
→Tsutenkaku is 59.88 meters high and is the tallest Buddhist pavilion in China. It enshrines Maitreya Buddha with a heavenly crown, which is the largest indoor forged bronze Buddha statue in China. There is also a cave inside the pavilion where you can copy Buddhist scriptures.

There were a lot of people eating there, and the queue was about an hour long. The food tasted pretty good.
The vegetarian noodles for 15r contain vegetables, mushrooms and gluten. It is said that the vegetables are grown by the temple itself. The noodles are pre-ordered from Suzhou. The gluten is soaked until soft and tastes very good. The clear soup is very delicious and hot and satisfying.
