This experience was really incredible although I am still not sure how to upload videos to Trip.com but it was exciting and learnt a lot about traditional dress and history of China It was also my birthday around this time so I was so surprised that they’re very cute egg and noodle dish which I was excited about.

My second visit to my beloved Shanghai! ❣️ One of the highlights of this trip was the #Xuan dinner show! Here, you can get your Hanfu and hair and makeup done, and even eat your meal while still in that outfit! The show unfolding before your eyes was so impressive, and even if you don't speak Chinese, you can pretty much get the gist of it. lol Sometimes I even got caught up in the show! 🤯 The meal was a luxurious course meal featuring luxurious ingredients, and everything was absolutely delicious... Overall, it was a wonderful experience! 💫 Advance reservations are a must! You can make reservations through the Trip.com experience menu. We also went a little further out to Happy Valley, a little further out of town. 🎡 We saw the night view of the Bund and walked and shopped along Nanjing Road. Fuss free booking experience via Klook for the Xuyan lunch dining experience in Shanghai. Picked the Nezha themed lunch and was blown away by the performance and how each dish is inspired by different phase of the story. 10/10 experience, something you should try too!

We booked SVIP seats for lunch show (cheaper than dinner) including costumes and we had a lot of fun. There were many clothes option (they even have inspo pics on their tablet) and you can request any kind of make up or hairstyles you prefer, they will get as close as possible to what you desire. The set and decor was also superb. However there’s definitely room for improvement. The food itself was definitely hit and miss (more misses tbh) and the performance itself was the same. There seem to lack storyline correlation, jumping from one thing to the next. Nonetheless, it’s worth experiencing at least one time if you get to come to Shanghai! #shanghai #xuyan

Review: While there is a live show ongoing to entertain you throughout your meal, the food and fruit liquor that they serve are amazing! There is also amazing LED screens playing on the stage and every dish is serve to you with an introduction while an animated LED light shine on your plate to show you what it looks like before it is served. You can even play dress up if you want to. At the end of your dinner, you can choose to take photos with the performers for free.
