Chengdu is indeed a city that knows how to enjoy it! This free Chinese-style night market is so chill! Just at Century City West Shu Corridor Bridge! The ladies in the Hanfu parade are so beautiful! To be honest, at that moment I thought I had traveled back to ancient times! The feeling of the entire night market is also full of Chinese style! In addition to traditional and beautiful folk performances, there are also many interesting mini-games. The immersive amusement park is really wonderful! There are various traditional art stalls in the market, and all kinds of gadgets are so novel and interesting! When you’re tired of shopping, there’s still a lot of delicious food! It’s so relaxing to eat while shopping! Of course it’s super nice to take pictures too! I couldn’t stop taking photos with my sisters, hahahahaha! Sisters who come to Chengdu for travel, there is still one here during the May Day period! Woohoo! It’s so worth it!

The Xishu Lang Bridge now has a night market too I accidentally spent the whole night there with my sisters... Folk performances, intangible cultural heritage crafts, fun stalls, panda merchandise, tea culture... Strolling through the market, enjoying delicious food and watching sports events, oh my, people in Chengdu really know how to enjoy life... I'm really envious of the casual vibe in Chengdu, the sense of relaxation is amazing~ I even stumbled upon a Hanfu parade, so many beautiful girls🥳 It's truly captivating~ I was actually quite shocked to see so many people drinking tea at night!! At first glance, you'll be drawn to some alien-shaped works, and you might think of the artists talking about breaking the frame and reshaping structures, and indeed there is such consideration. During my recent interaction with Wang Ziqi, I learned that wooden frames are quite expensive. Therefore, Wang Ziqi makes his own wooden frames by hand, and his girlfriend Lai Zhizhun, who also paints, are both third-year graduate students in the oil painting department of Southwestern University for Nationalities. Lai Zhizhun currently has 80 paintings, and the frames are all handcrafted by Wang Ziqi. A few days ago, I also visited their studio. Outside the studio door, there is a terrace piled with various discarded woods. Wang Ziqi would dismantle them and reassemble according to his own ideas. The use of corrugated boards also involves economic considerations. Wang Ziqi: "The idea of 'non-planar pictorial expression' came to me while I was making a back frame. Since I make my own frames, why not make them more interesting?" In his 'Here and Now' series, some works feature flying figures, inspired by the program 'Local' by Chen Danqing. When he introduced the Chinese mural 'Yao Shi Jing Bian Tu' sold abroad, the flying figures in it made a deep impression on him. But as he painted, he still decided to create works that are closer to life. There is also a piece that is a circuit board, which is taken from an old computer of Wang Ziqi, and then he attached it to the corrugated paper work using its inherent layers to simulate skyscrapers. We got our faces painted in Sichuan opera style, played with DIY pottery, and tried our hand at Touhu And we also had to get the candied hawthorns that we buy every time! You can watch the Hanfu parade, intangible cultural heritage tea-frying, folk art performances... and most importantly, they are all free! The shopping experience here is the next level in the market world! The old Chengdu Three Cannons, Bobo Chicken and other delicacies are all available! 🙌🏻 What surprised me most was that I could see various intangible cultural heritages: tie-dyeing, Shu embroidery, paper-cutting, Suining windmill, Qiang embroidery and so on! The market is located inside the Century City West Shu Langqiao, which is a very characteristic ancient-style 🏠 district! Both the design and the installations are particularly 🏮 Chinese style! There's a feeling of traveling back in time in an instant! At night, when the market 💡 lights up, the whole district is full of national style atmosphere, and it's very popular, really making one's heart 😊 excited! As soon as you enter the gate, you can see a Chinese-style stage which is also the main stage. During the event, most of the performances 💃 take place here every night, including Sichuan opera, crosstalk, and other intangible cultural heritage folk performances and programs! There are a lot of people watching, it's really lively! At the market, you can not only 📷 take photos and stroll around, but there are also various performances to watch and games to play, the content is really very rich. One of my favorite parts is the Hanfu parade, the 👧 young ladies and young men are so pretty and handsome, walking around in Hanfu and continuously waving and interacting with the surrounding crowd, really experiencing the shock of the national style!
