The beauty of autumn is intoxicating, the sky is so clear that I can clearly appreciate the fruits on the trees, observe the veins of the leaves and various shades of green. I seize the tail of autumn and enjoy this wonderful time to the fullest. We drove here and parked the car in the parking lot of the scenic area without paying any parking fees. We chose to take the cable car up and down the mountain, making the journey more relaxed. The package here includes all projects, which is very cost-effective. There are also accommodation facilities in the scenic area, the price is moderate, not expensive. In such beautiful weather, the scenery here is definitely worth a look. There are several recommended viewing points, and a total of two hours of play should be enough. There are many well-known photo spots in the scenic area, although you need to queue up, but you can indeed take very beautiful photos. In addition, there are many local specialties, such as tofu paste, braised red carp, Qingming fruit and bone soup noodles, etc. If you have free time, you might as well taste a cup in the tavern and feel the atmosphere here. Autumn Tour - Wuyuan Day 1: After arriving in Wuyuan, check into the pre-booked homestay in Wuyuan County, which is about a 10-minute taxi ride away. You can reach your accommodation by riding a shared electric bike for just 3 yuan. Wuyuan - Huangling (about 3-4 hours of play): There is a bus to Huangling at the high-speed rail station, the fare is 19 yuan, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. The last bus back to the high-speed rail station is at 18:30, don't miss the time. The entrance fee to Huangling includes the cost of the cable car up and down the mountain, which is 149 yuan per person. However, be aware that there are a lot of people here on weekends, especially when queuing for the cable car in the ancient village, it takes a long time. Also, it's hard to take satisfactory photos at the photo spots in the scenic area because there are too many people. However, the traditional Weipai architecture and the autumn scenery here are worth seeing. Huangling - Wuyuan State (watching iron flower and fireworks performance): There is a carpool to Wuyuan State at the entrance of Huangling Scenic Area, the price is 40 yuan per person. The main attractions in Wuyuan State are the iron flower and fireworks performances, which start at 20:00 and 21:20 respectively. Be aware that there are also a lot of people here on weekends, so you need to find the best viewing position in advance. As for the food part, I recommend trying the Wuyuan specialty 'Fan's Beef Bone Powder', which tastes good, but you need to understand and queue up in advance. I didn't particularly like the other Jiangxi dishes, some of them are really spicy.

Huangling Village is a highlight of traveling to Wuyuan! It’s especially beautiful in March when the yellow flowers are blooming, but also great in autumn and other times of the year. There’s the ancient town to explore with lots of shops, handicrafts, tea and coffee, and more. Then there are lots of paths up and down the town where you can explore more and get away from the crowds. Getting There: You can take a train to Wuyuan, or fly into Huangshan Airport or Jingdezhen Airport. Then take a car or taxi to the Huangling Scenic Area. Depending on where you start from, there are cable cars you can take up the mountain, or a short walking path up stairs and across a beautiful bridge to get to the village. There is ziplining also available. The entrance ticket costs 130 RMB, and I would recommend at least several hours to explore. Many people paid Huangling with other villages around Wuyuan, like Jiangling. There are hotels in the ancient area, but we stayed in a hotel outside the ancient area, which made it convenient for leaving early in the morning for a flight the next day. It was definitely more crowded on this weekend in March because it’s peak season for the flowers, so avoid weekends if you can.
