🏠Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base
Alias: "Panda Kindergarten"
Location: Wenchuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan
Environment: Close to Wolong, at an altitude of 1700 meters, surrounded by mountains, the natural environment is very good
Ticket Price: Adults 90/person, Minors 45/person🎫
Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 9:00-17:00
💡Several reasons to recommend Wolong Panda Base
✅1. This is the headquarters of the China Giant Panda Research Center🐮 (except for the Walnut Ping Base which is not open for public visits), many pandas from Dujiangyan and Ya'an were transferred from Shenshuping.
✅2. The natural environment is very good, cool in summer⛰️ because it is surrounded by mountains, and in winter it's rare to see snow in Sichuan and you can encounter snow pandas (🔔Hot Knowledge: Pandas are not afraid of cold but heat!!!)
✅3. Panda Kindergarten!!! Here you can see 3 little pandas climbing trees, sitting in a row, eating and other super cute activities! Only in Wolong can you see this~
✅4. The design of the giant panda enclosures here is very good, because the base is very large, all concentrated on one hillside, it is very convenient for visitors to play inside, and the panda living environment🏠 is also very good~
✅5. This is a base where you can volunteer with pandas! But children need to be over 8 years old
✅6. There's one more reason recently: you have the chance to see Fubao here!!!
⚠️TIPS: Because the Wolong base is far from the city area~ It is recommended for friends who can drive there!
-
‼️Panda volunteer recruitment is ongoing ING
Limited spots, and the summer vacation is a busy travel season
Friends who want to experience being a "Panda Poop Shoveler" are advised to book early~

This is probably the closest I've ever been to a national treasure.
📍Location: Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base, a place where you'll be overwhelmed by the cuteness of the pandas.
🚗Transportation: Whether you drive here or take public transportation, you can easily find this happy home of the pandas.
👍️Must-visit attractions:
• Panda Villa: The pandas here are either lying or sitting, eating or sleeping. Their cuteness will make you exclaim in surprise. For example, the cute "Huahua", with its round body and slow movements, is simply too adorable. And the lively "Menglan", who occasionally does something naughty, is simply too cute.
• Cub Activity Area: Watching the small, fluffy cubs crawling around will melt your heart. It's simply too cute. Some of these little guys don't even have names yet, but each one is as cute as a little angel.
🎟️Ticket information: CNY 90. The ticket price is very affordable and definitely worth it. Spend a little money and have a sweet date with the pandas.
💗Other tips:
• Remember to bring a camera, because you will definitely want to take lots of photos. Otherwise, you will regret it later. You might even capture some funny moments of the pandas, which will become your exclusive memories.
• Wear comfortable shoes, because you might walk a lot in the base just to see the pandas. Don't miss the cute pandas because your feet hurt.
• Prepare some snacks and water. If you are overwhelmed by the cuteness of the pandas, you can replenish your energy. After all, watching pandas is also a physical activity.
In short, Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base is a place where you won't want to leave once you come, and you will want to come again once you leave. Come and have a wonderful encounter with the pandas! 😉

The Pandas in Shenshuping Base are Killing Me😍
Thank you for supporting yesterday's video😘😘😘Guys, you must go to Wolong Shenshuping to watch Pandas! Though it is a little far from the urban areas, there are many pandas for you to see! Plus, the weather has been quite ideal recently. So, you can watch them as much (and long) as you want!
Many gardens belong to mother pandas with their cubs, which are so lovely. Unfortunately, when I saw Xiao Qi Ji, he fell asleep, turning his back on us. I went to his home twice only to find him sleeping!

To see giant pandas, I recommend the Wolong Shenshuping Base
Located in Wenchuan, Aba, Sichuan, the giant pandas at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda Wolong Shenshuping Base enjoy the warm spring sun, playing and sleeping to their heart's content, looking adorably clumsy. The Wolong Shenshuping Base is situated at an altitude of over 1700 meters, where the climate is cool and the natural environment is very suitable for the breeding of giant pandas. Moreover, it offers a greater selection of genetic resources, which is more conducive to increasing the success rate of giant panda breeding.

To see pandas, one must visit the Wolong Giant Panda Base in Wenchuan
To see pandas, one must visit the Wolong Giant Panda Base in Wenchuan. There are 90 giant pandas, free for you to see, open for viewing, without the crowds! The pandas here live a carefree life, which made me feel the magic and charm of nature.
As soon as I entered the base, I was attracted by the adorable appearance of the pandas. They either lay leisurely on the grass basking in the sun, frolicked and played, ate bamboo at ease, or stood in a corner in a daze, as if telling us how wonderful their world is. At the Wenchuan Giant Panda Base, just watching the pandas could take up an entire afternoon.
At the Wolong Giant Panda Base, in addition to seeing pandas, you can also visit the museum and science exhibitions within the base to learn about the history of pandas, their current conservation status, and future development directions.
If you also want to see the lovely national treasure pandas up close, without the throngs of tourists, why not come to the Wolong Giant Panda Base?

To see pandas, head to the happy homeland of the giant panda!
Sichuan's panda bases include: Wolong Base, Chengdu Base, Ya'an Bifengxia Base, and Dujiangyan Base. I've visited them all,
but my favorite is still the Wolong China Giant Panda Garden.
The Giant Panda Garden is located in Shenshuping, Gengda Town, Wolong Special Administrative Region, Sichuan Province. It is the core area of the panda conservation area, the original habitat of the giant panda, the happy homeland of the giant panda! The China Giant Panda Garden covers an area of 150 hectares, with 59 sets of enclosures built according to the terrain, which can accommodate 60-80 giant pandas. Opening hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (ticket sales stop), ticket price: 90 RMB. Advantages over other bases:
First, at the foot of Balang Mountain, by the Balang River. Blue skies and white clouds, green waters and mountains, snow peaks reflecting, fresh air. Being in the embrace of nature is refreshing and uplifting.
Second, fewer people mean no queues, and it's easier to choose a spot for photos. Since it is 79 kilometers away from Chengdu city center, there are relatively fewer tourists on usual days, making the visit more peaceful and relaxed. If you are driving, it is recommended not to stop near the ticket sales hall, as it is far away, you can drive directly up and park near the ticket checkpoint.
Special suggestion: It is best to arrange your visit time at 2:00 pm, because in the morning the pandas are all sleeping, especially the lively and cute little ones in the Panda Kindergarten, who only come out for outdoor activities at 2:00 pm. After entering the garden, you can first visit the Panda Kindergarten and watch those cute and clumsy little guys tumble and roll around, which will make you feel an uncontrollable excitement and joy!

One-day tour of Shenshuping Base in Wolong, Wenchuan, China's Giant Panda Garden
One-day tour of Shenshuping Base in Wolong, Wenchuan, China's Giant Panda Garden
We set off from Chengdu at nine in the morning and it took an hour and a half to get there. The traffic was not congested and the flow was okay. We bought the tickets one day in advance, it's a national marketing ticket, 80 yuan per person, and you can enter the scenic area directly by scanning the QR code.
It's best to arrive around ten o'clock, so you can see the pandas playing and eating. We left after twelve o'clock, and many pandas started to sleep when we left. After lunch at two o'clock, you can make a round trip on the same day.
We saw Little Miracle, Xinxin, Aoao, Cloud, Shui Xiu, Lu Lu and many others~ Almost every one was wandering and eating in the morning.
The place is big, not crowded, the scenery is good, far from the smog of Chengdu, all are advantages~ We had lunch at the Riwa Cuo Wa restaurant, 268 yuan for a 3-4 person meal, the picture shows two sets, recommend the cured meat pot and butter tea.

Two hours around Chengdu|Child-friendly! Cross the stream to see the ice waterfall|||
|||. During the three-day New Year's holiday, it feels like there are a lot of people everywhere in the city, so I decided to drive to a not so far place to breathe some fresh air. (Everyone has seen how bad the air in Chengdu has been recently). On the first day of the Saturday holiday, I set off from the south gate, and after only two hours and ten minutes, I arrived at this place where the sky is so blue it seems fake, and the water is so clear it seems filtered. Although it is already winter, the trees are all bare and not as lush as in summer, but the light and shadow of the sun shining into the forest become more beautiful, and the stream becomes clearer, and it is so comfortable to hike!
This place is called Wolongguan Gully, recommended to everyone!
1⃣️Navigation: Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Wenchuan Xiangyun Farmhouse
This is just a rough location of the starting point of the hike, there are many restaurants and farmhouses along this road, just park wherever there is a parking space. The whole journey from Chengdu is on the highway + national road, currently no need for anti-skid chains, but there may be slightly icy sections on the Panda Avenue, just drive carefully.
2⃣️Cost: If you park your car without any accidents, the restaurant or farmhouse owner will come out to collect a parking fee of 10 yuan/car and a sanitation fee of 20 yuan/person. I don't know if this fee is reasonable, but they generally don't charge for children, and I really didn't see any garbage along the way, it's very clean. I also call on everyone to take their garbage with them, whether or not there is a "sanitation fee", and don't leave your traces.
3⃣️Route features: From the side of the road where the car is parked to the mountains, we are generally moving along the stream, the road is not easy to get wrong, even if you deviate slightly from the route, you will soon find that you can't go on, you need to adjust the direction again, it's basically impossible to get lost. From the beginning of the fields, to the scenery of the pine and cypress forest, then to the stream and the wilderness, the small bridge and flowing water, finally you will encounter two ice waterfalls, not far apart, you will not feel bored all the way, there are many changes in the scenery. And the whole route is very easy to walk except for the last bit of slope, you need to climb a small wooden ladder, the rest of the time is very easy to walk. The altitude is not high, only 2000+, it is not easy to have altitude sickness, children with some outdoor experience, normal walking is completely no problem (but still be careful not to get too close to the stream, to avoid falling into the water)
4⃣️Distance: The round-trip hike is about 4-5 kilometers, and it takes about three hours to walk slowly
Such a route with few people, beautiful scenery, easy to walk, close to Chengdu, and can see ice, I really think it is a treasure!

When I travel to Sichuan, how can I not get close to the national treasure giant panda?
Wolong China Giant Panda Garden is the only panda base located in the Wolong Nature Reserve and is known as the best place to watch giant pandas in the world. Yuanyuan District is located in Yuda Town, Wolong Nature Reserve, with an altitude of 1,700 meters. The base covers an area of 150 hectares.
Walk the Giant Panda Garden, the green hills, the long flowing green water, full of negative oxygen ions, an enviable living environment. The
base is divided into three areas, namely: Shenshuping Giant Panda Breeding and Visiting Area, Captive Giant Panda Wilderness Training Area and Field Returning Area.
Recommended visit time: 9 per day
Enjoyourtrip.
When it comes to giant pandas, they have to mention Wolong. The giant pandas are famous overseas. Wolong China Giant Panda Garden is the only panda base located in the Wolong Nature Reserve and is regarded as the best place to watch giant pandas in the world. This is a world-class giant panda research center that integrates giant panda breeding, breeding, research, wilderness training and reintroduction research, as well as public education and high-end scientific observation.
Sharer.
Since I came to the hometown of the pandas, how can I not visit this group of "living fossils", and I have waited for so long, so I can't do so, so I asked the driver to leave early.
is the largest breeding base for giant pandas at home and abroad. It is said that the Chinese Giant Panda Garden currently has 74 giant pandas, accounting for 50%
base trees in the world. The lush, quiet and serene environment, the giant pandas raised in a separate house, so envious of envy, into the base, I can't wait to see the baby panda.
The pandas here are kept in different areas. The pandas have kindergartens, and the giant pandas are one big villa. It is quite domineering. From time to time, there are also local tyrants to adopt for life, and children with aunts are not the same.
I went to the kindergarten to see the little pandas. They all eat bamboo together or they are playing, because the distance is far apart, so the shot is not clear, but they eat bamboo very cute. Sitting and eating, lying down to eat, leisurely, embarrassing.
Then came to the Giant Panda Pavilion. The pandas here are obviously bigger and bigger. It happened to see a person walking down and drinking water, very close to us, so everyone took the time to press the shutter.
Panda baby looks fat and feels inconvenient. In fact, it is quite flexible. After a while, he finished the water, took a shower, and went back to the house, so I suggest you take a panda. Remember to have a telephoto because most of the pandas don't come down.
