The first canoe activity of the summer was chosen in Sai Kung, and by the way, I tried the W M Hotel with good reviews. The lobby place is huge, one is responsible for check in, others can sit and wait. Booked a garden view superior room, really big very big 😆 The room has wifi, the toilet has two sets of toiletries, there are two bath salts, a pack of ginger flavor and a pack of lavender. There is free soda and orange juice in the fridge😚😚 You can replenish your moisture after a shower. The hotel has a gym, and the favorite infinity pool for taking pictures😍 The pool is quite big, you won't be able to take pictures of people😘 There is also a sauna in the toilet next to the gym, with two wet steam and dry steam. Although it is not big, it is good to play with steam and sleep well that night after steaming. I prefer dry steaming more, I see some sweat dripping while making it, I feel like I have lost a lot of weight🤣🤣 After canoeing, go back and take a shower. This swimming pool is nice and could be used as a tourist attraction. There are many boat companies near the city center, so you can go to the islands/beaches very conveniently. In summer, many guests go out to the island to play water activities, and stay here after playing, which is very convenient. The check-in time was long during the holiday. I waited 30 minutes at 15:00 before I could get the room. We booked a sea view terrace room, but we had to walk to the last room, which was quite far. Two months ago, I snagged a time-limited deal on Trip.com for $1800 including taxes, which included lunch on the day of check-in and breakfast the next day. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we were looking forward to it for a long time 🤩. The location was very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the Sai Kung pier. Sai Kung itself is already a hidden gem, and arriving at the hotel felt like we were transported to Thailand 🥺. The lobby was beautifully decorated and brightly lit. It was designed by the award-winning designer Aedas, whom I have seen on YouTube countless times. Finally being there was a dream come true 🥳. Entering the room, there was an open sink on the left with a large makeup mirror that could even connect to Bluetooth. You could play music from your phone while doing your makeup in front of it 🪞. Before sleeping, you could play some relaxing music to wind down. This was a feature that you don't often see in hotels. Behind the sink was a bathroom with a sea view and a bathtub. There were both a standing shower and a large, romantic, egg-shaped bathtub 🌹. It was perfect for couples to take a relaxing bath together. However, the door of the standing shower was not deep enough, and once I accidentally flooded the bathroom 😞. It was a sad moment, and we didn't use the shower again. My favorite part was the terrace with a rattan chair where we could chill. The size of the terrace was large enough to fit two chairs and a coffee table, which perfectly fulfilled our dream of living luxuriously in a tiny Hong Kong apartment 🤓. If we weren't ready to sleep after dinner, we could drink red wine on the terrace and enjoy the sea breeze while chatting 🌬. After getting our room key, we made a reservation at the gym to use the largest infinity pool in Hong Kong on the top floor 😛. Remember to plan your visit and take pictures of the view. Because the pool is so large, there are many people compared to other hotels we've been to, and it might take some time to find the right angle for your photo 🥺. Nevertheless, the view from the pool was breathtakingly beautiful. We had a blast with this 24-hour package at the WM Hotel in Sai Kung. Oh my god, the blue sky, white clouds and empty sidewalks almost made me think I was in a foreign country! The newly opened WM Hotel in Saigon has a very modern decoration. Booked the Superior Room @ WM Hotel for 1 night (26-27 Dec) and check in time was at 3pm. We arrived around 20 mins earlier to check in. Had around 7-8 groups in front of us and I could say that the check in time took longer than other hotels, however when it did get to our turn, checkin was smooth and only took around 2-3 minutes so I'm not sure why the groups in front took over 10 minutes! The hotel itself is brand new and everything looks clean. The bathtub was great and could fit 2 people in at once. The water, Nespresso Machine and Fridge items were all complimentary which was a nice touch. The gym was satisfactory, however, wasn't expecting much. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room was closed unfortunately but all looked nice and clean. Location wise, it is around a 5-7 minute walk to the pier and all the restaurants etc. The downsides: -The air con had a rattling noise throughout the night which was quite annoying. -Instead of using blackout curtains, they used automatic blinds which let in light from the side gaps which shine on the pillow area which is not ideal when you want to sleep in the morning. -The mirror in the bathroom is great, however there is a blue light that you cannot turn off and this shines through the glass into the room. Other than that everything was fine. It was a very nice place to stay and alot of things to do around the area.
