Come to the Wenzhou Grand Theatre to watch the epic masterpiece 'Les Misérables'
I have been looking forward to the stage play 'Les Misérables' for a long time, and finally, the wait is over! Before watching the play, I was filled with curiosity and the unknown, but not long after the performance started, I was struck by surprises!
'Les Misérables' is an encyclopedia of human suffering, a spiritual epic of humanity's innate goodness! On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and China, the launch of the Chinese version of the play is of great significance. The creators, with their professional knowledge and in the form of new Taiwanese drama, have recreated this literary work. The social misery that has doomed the fate of the people, only the great love that shines can reach the depths of the soul, to explore human nature, to cherish life!
Despite the fact that this work originated in France, under the joint efforts of the director, playwright, and actors, using language, music, and lighting to construct a unique theatrical aesthetic, the audience is immersed in the cultural vigor.
The most surprising thing is the performance of the lead actor Liu Ye and others, which is remarkable. The stage play really tests the actors' command of dialogue, explosive performance, and during the performance, the stage lighting and props are matched with great care and precision. I always really loved to wear traditional clothings of any culture, starting from the amazing kaftans of my motherland Morocco.
But anytime I wear hanfu I just feel like leaving an imperial dynasty dream, especially during the cultural events like this one, dedicated to the local traditions and history.
An exposition in the front yard of the charming Wenzhou Grand Theater during the dragon boast week festival, with many panels displaying local food, traditional art and crafts, clothes and teas.
There was of course an entire section purely for hanfu, with the chance to wear and even get hair and make up done according to the tradition.
