This temple is located in Village 6, Tambon Padang Besar, Amphoe Sadao, Songkhla Province. It is a marble pagoda that is a replica of the Mahabodhi Buddha Gaya in India. This temple was born from the faith of a Singaporean monk, “Phra Mongkol Yanakun” or “Chuang Jia Yasaro”, the first abbot of Wat Khao Rup Chang who passed away on November 21, 2010. Wat Khao Rup Chang has 2 floors in total. The first floor has a Buddha image enshrined inside, pillars molded into the shape of a dragon, and beautiful murals for you to see. The second floor, when walking up the stairs, there are murals for you to see throughout the walk. When you reach the second floor, you will see the top of the pagoda. It is also a viewpoint of Khao Kaew. Outside the temple, there are also marble carved statues of many Buddhas. And many poses to see
