#Bangkok Itinerary
Bangkok, Thailand is a world-famous tourist resort city. Every day, thousands of tourists come to Bangkok for sightseeing and vacation. The Chao Phraya River is the mother river of Bangkok and even the whole of Thailand. There are many scenic spots along the Chao Phraya River. This time, we will introduce a one-day tour of the village temples and ancestral halls along the Chao Phraya River in Khlong San District, Bangkok. No tickets are required for the entire scenic spot, and you can visit and take photos for free📸.
Itinerary content: Take public transportation or a taxi to Soi Charoen Nakhon 56 (Soi Charoen Nakhon 56), walk about 500 meters to the historical village on the Chao Phraya River. This residential village was mainly established when the first generation of Chinese immigrants came to Bangkok. After seven or eight generations, the whole village still maintains its original appearance, with buildings of different styles, Buddhist shrines everywhere, small bridges and flowing water. It has a unique flavor and is very suitable for taking photos 📸. After visiting the village, we came to two historical royal temples: Wat Ratchawarin (วัดราชวรินทร์) and Wat Rat Warin Thon. Both temples were built in the Ayutthaya era in the early Siamese dynasty and have a history of hundreds of years. The temple buildings are magnificent and the exterior decorations are exquisite, which are very suitable for taking pictures. After visiting these two temples, walk north for less than a kilometer and you will find a Chinese cultural and historical ancestral temple: the Thai Lin Clan Association. It was established by the first generation of Chinese immigrants of the Lin family who came to Bangkok and has a history of a hundred years. Visiting this ancestral temple can give you a good understanding of the cultural history of the first generation of Chinese who came to Thailand. It's also a good place to check in and take photos. After visiting the ancestral halls and temples, walk one kilometer south and you will arrive at the most important attraction of the entire trip, the most famous ancient temple attraction on the Chao Phraya River in Khlong San District, Bangkok: Wat Suttharam วัดสุทธาราม. The temple was built in the Ayutthaya period in the early Siamese dynasty. It is a famous historical temple in the area and also a third-level royal temple. The temple architecture embodies the Siamese cultural and artistic style. It is simple and elegant, exquisite and gorgeous. It is definitely a great place to take pictures. The temple is quiet and peaceful, and it is a good place for meditation. There are public toilets and chairs for tourists to rest in the temple.
