Wat Ratchaorotaram Ratchaworawihan is the temple of King Rama III. It was built before the Rattanakosin period. The decorations in the temple are a mix of Chinese and Thai styles. What catches our eyes the most are the glazed tiles that decorate the temple. When it is hit by sunlight, it is very beautiful. Another thing is the ceramic dolls that are made in the Chinese style. They are located in front of the entrance to the chapel. Here, on the north side, it is next to Khlong Bang Wa. The wind blows cool and comfortable. It can be a way of life for the locals in that area.
The temple is located at 258 Soi Ekkachai 4, Ekkachai Road, Bang Khun Thian, Chom Thong, Bangkok.

Watratchaorotaramratchaworawihan is an old temple from the Ayutthaya period. However, King Rama III was very attached to this temple because he had many relatives in this area.
The upper part of a Thai temple is made of wood, so it often rots. If it falls down, it will be dangerous. Therefore, he ordered the temple to be built without the gable, bai raka, and hang hong. The gable is made of brick and decorated with glazed tiles instead. Large pillars support the weight all around. The outer window frames are decorated with stucco in various patterns and are lacquered and gilded. In the reign of King Rama III, some people called the temple "temple outside the style".
This temple is notable for its principal Buddha image and reclining Buddha image, and has beautiful murals.

Cafe by Khlong Dan, near Wat Ratchaoros
Yesterday, I intended to buy sticky rice with mango from a popular and trending shop called Pa Nee's Shop at Wat Ratchaoros. I walked across the canal along the railway until my legs were sore to hear the auntie say, "It's all gone! It's all gone before noon 😂" So I ordered it. The weather was hot. Next to the sticky rice shop was a cute little cafe with a nice atmosphere, so I ordered a glass of green tea. It was very refreshing. The atmosphere along the Dan Canal was great. There were boats passing by and foreigners waving all the time.
