One-day trip to Ayutthaya ~ serving as a guide for relatives who come from China.
* . 🚀 . I went to Ayutthaya after a long time and I have to thank my Chinese relatives who searched for tourist attractions and took me there within that night. They said, "I want to come here (here refers to all the temples in Ayutthaya)." So, we had to change our plans abruptly. At first, we were going to visit the temples around Ratchaburi , but then we separated from other relatives and went on our own. We took our relatives to visit the old city instead (亲人 qīnrén means relatives). Please pray for my little sister, lol. 5555555
♡ We traveled by private car from home (van) and it was an Oneday tour! It's not an illegal tour, lol. We even had a guide with us. 555555555 (just kidding, this was a private trip with family and we didn't receive any payment, so it doesn't count as income)
♡ The weather was so hot and humid when we arrived. It was raining heavily before we got there, but the rain stopped when we arrived. Then it turned into a scorching heat. However, our relatives were so determined and didn't care about the heat. They just kept walking and walking. We had to give up 😭. After we finished walking, we sat down and enjoyed some delicious durian (the durian was brought from home and just harvested from the orchard). But it was already afternoon by the time we finished walking. The trip was over!
🥑 Actually, we only went to visit the Mahathat temple. 555555 Because we didn't know if other relatives were Buddhist or not. Our relatives told us that they didn't worship the Buddha in the afternoon, so we stopped there. Then we went to Window shopping elsewhere.
* We left Ratchaburi at 8 am and arrived in Ayutthaya after 3 hours. We visited the temple, had lunch, went back to Bangkok, checked into the hotel, went shopping, and then watched the "Ladyboy Show (人妖表演 Rényāo biǎoyǎn)." Finally, we ended the day by going for a walk, drinking milk tea, having dinner, and returning to the hotel. It was a great day! ꈍ◡ꈍ

Prang View Cafe, Ayutthaya
If you are tired of walking around the trail, there are several cafes across from Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana. Today we choosed one of the popular restaurant Prang View Cafe. Oh my! They served really good foods and drinks.
在遣跡走倦了,在Wat Mahathat 和 Wat Ratchaburana 的對面就有好幾間 cafe。 最後我們選了人氣餐廳 Prang View Cafe。 果然沒令人失望。

This place is amazing. You could spend hours looking through the ruins imagining what they would have been like originally.
There's also another entire section of temples across the road, behind where everyone else goes at the main tourist area, which is in fact more intact, and it's only a two minute walk to the next block, where there are no tourists at all.
This place is truly an amazing temple complex and it covers a very large area. It's located right next to one of the main streets of town, so easy to get a drink, meal or tuk-tuk nearby also. Entry to the main park is 10 baht.
As part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, it is highly recommended to add this place to your list of places to visit in Thailand, and there's another eight or nine temple complexes within spitting distance! You could literally spend a week looking at them all.
It is only an hour and twenty minutes from Bangkok by taxi and expect to pay around 2,000 baht☺️
If you find a good English-speaking taxi driver, they'll even give you a guided tour and get you around town.

Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan became the principal temple of Nakhon Si Thammarat, the capital of Tambralinga, the sovereign state in Southern Peninsula of Thailand in the early 13th to mid-14th century CE. The principal stupa, Phra Borommathat Chedi, was built in the early 13th century.
Nowdays, it is amazing place for visiting, learning and knowing more about the history of the Siam and the Buddhist of the past.

Attractions - Known also as “the temple of the Great Relic” because it enshrined Buddha relics and precious Buddha related objects. The iconic photography site that draws most of the attention is the head of the Buddha image enveloped in the root of the Banyan Tree trunk. Visitors may see the detail design of the temple which is following the concept of the ancient Khmer style too😄.

Iconic Buddha Head In Tree Roots
Among the many interesting temples in this complex, Wat Phra Mahathat (Temple of the Great Relics) is one of temple that caught my attention the most. It turned out this temple is located almost in the middle of the Ayutthaya Historical Park island complex. And only in this temple we can see the very famous Buddha in an unusual pose. How did the Buddha head entwined within the roots of a tree? Nobody knows exactly. Perhaps the mystery and speculation is part of the fascination that draws all tourists who visit the temple each year.
FYI, to get to Ayutthaya you can directly buy tickets on the spot at Hua Lamphong Station (Bangkok Train Station)

Temple of Wonders
One of the most important temples in Ayutthaya is Wat Phra Mahathat. It’s once glorious temple but still glorious standing today imagining the colorful place this temple was before. History is very rich that you can feel the atmosphere of the place.
They said that the Buddha head is stolen by someone and forgotten that the bayan tree swallowed it and stays there for centuries. it’s like you the robbers cannot steal from them anymore....
Before I can only see the image of Buddha head in the tree roots on postcard, images on internet but now I see it and take my own photo of the Buddha.
Wonders in memory.

Ayutthaya
I visited Ayutthaya June last year , and it was an enchanting experience that transported me back in time. The ancient ruins scattered across the city are awe-inspiring, showcasing the rich history and culture of Thailand. Exploring the temples, such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, was a highlight, with their intricate architecture and serene atmosphere. The Ayutthaya Historical Park is a must-visit, offering a comprehensive insight into the glory of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Additionally, the local cuisine was delectable, and the warmth of the people made my stay even more memorable. I highly recommend Ayutthaya to anyone seeking a blend of history, culture, and culinary delights on their travels.

Ayutthaya: Amidst the hustle and bustle of the world, as the sun sets and the journey comes to an end, the glory of a hundred years is but a fleeting cloud of smoke.
Starting from Bangkok, it takes about 80-90 kilometers by car to reach here. However, to fully explore the ancient city, it took almost a week, not because there are too many attractions, but because of the weight of history, the desolation and bleakness of the present, and the many past glories that are difficult to digest. Among them, the famous Buddha head in the tree roots alone is enough to keep you occupied for several days.
♥️♥️
About history:
Ayutthaya can be considered as the birthplace of ancient civilization in Thailand. At its peak, the population reached over one million. Unfortunately, this glorious history was destroyed by Burma in 1767. All the palaces and temples in the city were burned down, leaving only the ruins we see today. Even now, scenes of the invasion can still be seen in the murals inside the Grand Palace, filled with a sense of sadness.
♥️♥️
About mystery:
When we went, we chose a night time and quietly entered the Mahathat Temple to play. The ruins were extremely quiet, and a wild dog that probably lived here accompanied us all the way without making a sound. When we walked to a stupa and peeked inside, it was pitch black. Suddenly, hundreds of bats rushed out at lightning speed, carrying an ancient smell. It was a black mass that lasted for several minutes. The tower was empty and nothing could be seen.
Escort us all the way to the end of the trip, the dog only returned to the temple, lying quietly at the corner of the wall, watching us leave. So friendly, so warm, hundreds of bats that don't know where they went, and the ancient mysterious power of Wat Mahathat has also been experienced.
♥️♥️
About the tree wrapped around the Buddha's head:
A Buddha head and the bottom of a banyan tree are integrated, with the Buddha head tightly wrapped by the roots of the banyan tree. This wonderful landscape is said to have formed when Myanmar dropped the Buddha head under the Bodhi tree many years ago, and the Buddha head and tree roots grew together. One eye of the Buddha head is slightly open, while the other is tightly closed, as if washing away the lead and watching the changes in the world peacefully. People from all over the world come to see it, and it is said that through the eyes of the Buddha head, you can see your own heart clearly.

The tree embracing Buddha's head, one of the seven wonders of Thailand.
When it comes to world cultural heritage in Thailand, one cannot fail to mention the Historic City of Ayutthaya. The sight of the Buddha's head embraced by the roots of a tree at the Mahathat Temple in Ayutthaya is the most important symbol of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The oldest and most magnificent temple in Ayutthaya, the Mahathat Temple, is a temple ruin full of glory and decline. The Buddha head, with closed eyes and a smiling face, is entwined by the roots of a Bodhi tree at the entrance, making it one of the seven wonders of Thailand.
The main tower of the Mahathat Temple is a Khmer-style pagoda, which has collapsed and been rebuilt. The temple is full of ruins and traces of destruction after being looted. Many pagodas now only have the base left, and you can still see the traces of the plaster decoration on the pagodas around. Many Buddha statues destroyed by the Burmese army can still be seen. The single admission ticket for Mahathat Temple is 50 Thai baht, and if you purchase the Historical Park Pass for 220 Thai baht, you don't need to buy a separate ticket. If you want to take a photo with the Buddha's head, you must squat down because your head cannot be higher than the Buddha's. Due to the open nature of the site and the strong UV radiation from the sun, it is recommended to apply sunscreen to prevent sunburn.

The Wat Mahathat is located in Sukhothai Historical Park, Ayutthaya, Thailand.
was built in 1374 (the Sukhothai Dynasty) as one of the earliest Khmer pagodas built in Ayutthaya. The
Mahatai Temple was inferred by archaeologists as the center of administration and belief of the Sukhothai dynasty (AD 1238-1438), the first empire created by the Sukhothai dynasty for the Thais, although the Buddha statue was tinned The influence of Lan and Khmer Buddhist art, but still built a "walking Buddha" Buddha statue to create a unique style, fully embodying the power of Buddha's compassion and silence, showing the unique Buddhist aesthetics of the Sukhothai Dynasty.
In 1767, the great city was destroyed by the Burmese army and set fire to the temple Buddha statue...
Mahatai Temple is most favored by tourists than the Buddha statue in the tree in front of the temple. This statue is closed and peaceful. Quiet and calm, and integrated with the Bodhi tree.
Xiaolei_Travel.
I once saw a picture on the Internet. In the middle of the root of a linden tree, it seems that a Buddha head was born. The Buddha and the branches are entangled. A faint smile hangs in the Bodhi tree, and it is shocked at once. After reading the information, I know that there is a place called Dacheng. The picture of the Buddha head around the tree is in the Mahathat Temple in Dacheng. When the Buddhas head was robbed and destroyed by the Burmese army, the Buddhas head was knocked down and rolled under the Bodhi tree. After a few hundred years, the Buddha's head will be integrated with the roots of the tree.
In front of the Buddha's head, it is more wonderful than the picture. The Buddha's head seen from each angle changes slightly. After a lot of changes in the wind and frost, there is always a peaceful smile.
雙喜與子琛.
Ayutthaya, the longest dynasty in the history of Thailand, is located in the history of the royal family for nearly 400 years. It was destroyed in 1767 after the invasion of Myanmar. It is not only the glory of the royal family that has been destroyed, but also countless treasures and treasures and unrepairable monuments. After years of baptism, Ayutthaya is still smiling, and the Buddha is still tolerant of the world.
Wat Mahathat is the oldest Khmer temple in the city. From the completion of the construction to the incompleteness, it is not to accompany the big city. Now there is no royal companion here. Although it is lonely, it is very shocking to the visitors. Surrounded by trees, the temple has 209 towers and 10 brothels. The most beautiful tower was about 40 meters high. It was unbelievable at the time. Most of the temples after the war have only a pedestal. Most of the Buddha statues are in the same place, leaving only the body. At that time, the Buddha's head was considered to be the most precious part, and the aggressors liked to bring the Buddha's head as a trophy to bring back to their country and enshrine in a palace or museum. In order to promote their own victory. The arches around the
stupa are vaguely visible at the time, and the red bricks are decorated with plaster. There is no gold and silver decoration, no color, but there is an irreplaceable legend. Only a few Buddha's tops still exist at the time, very style, from the details can be seen in the old and beautiful. To this day, the pointed tower top seems to tell people about its glory, and its immortal corruption.
Hehe_Hexiaoxi.
The Mahathat Temple is one of the earliest Khmer-style pagodas built in the Great Wall, but now only the base of the bottom is left, and the traces of stucco at that time can be seen from the surrounding pagodas. The most famous attraction in the temple is the tree-wrapped Buddha head at the entrance. The closed-headed Buddha head is entwined by the Bodhi tree roots and is one of the seven wonders of Thailand. When you take a photo with the Buddha's head, you must kneel down because the Buddhist culture of Thailand is the head of a person who cannot be taller than the head of the Buddha. The main tower of the Mahathat Temple is a Khmer-style pagoda. It was collapsed and rebuilt. Later, due to the invasion of the Burmese army, the temple was full of defects, and there were traces of broken walls and looted damage. Because of the war, the temples of Ayutthaya were almost destroyed. Because of greed, the only remaining Buddha statues became avatars. Human beings could not restore these ruins that had been destroyed. Only future generations could remember the terrible war. . .

Ayutthaya was once the capital of Thailand and was once one of the largest cities in the world. The Buddha statues here are world famous. The Buddha statue shrouded under the yellow silk sits on the rosette. The Buddha's eyes stare at the Chao Phraya River and the weather-beaten land underneath, surrounded by a tranquility after a historical wash. However, those headless Buddha statues are silent, as if they are telling stories they have experienced.
Dacheng Reclining Buddha Temple, also known as Rocaya Suta Temple, is located in the northwest corner of the inner city. A river separates it from other temples in the Ayutthaya Historical Park. In the open air of the temple lies a 42-meter-long reclining Buddha statue. The
tree holds the Buddha's head. It is the most well-known spectacle of Dacheng. It is in the Mahathat Temple and is the most ancient temple in Ayutthaya. A huge Buddha's head fell and was held tightly and gently by the roots of the millennium ancient banyan tree. For hundreds of years of vicissitudes of life, it was still a smile on the face.
Tips: Locals will take off their shoes before paying homage.

Among the historical world cultural heritage sites of Ayutthaya, there are countless legendary ancient temples. The temple with the oldest history, the largest scale and the most representative temple is the Mahathat Temple in the center of the ancient city. In addition to the well-known tree holding Buddha's head and the legendary story behind it, the temple is also home to many exquisite architectural monuments and exquisite Buddha statues. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the entire city.
From anywhere in the city, as long as you are heading towards the center of the city, it is easy to find this famous temple. Many of the ancient buildings in the temple have been severely damaged, but through these remnants of the remains, you can still truly feel the prosperity and greatness of the city.
Entering the temple along the quaint gates, passing through a deep trail covered by a jungle, at the foot of a tall banyan tree, you can see the most amazing and incredible scenery of the entire temple. A calm Buddha head is surrounded by the roots of a big tree, and the two are closely connected and become an inseparable whole. According to legend, this Buddha head was when the Great Wall Kingdom was invaded by Burma. When the Burmese army plundered the remains, it was accidentally thrown away. Later, it was provoked by the roots of the trees from the ground and wrapped tightly. Although the truth of the story is unknown, the scene where the Buddha's head is intertwined with the roots of the tree has become a great miracle that the world has talked about. Many monks from neighboring countries such as Cambodia and Myanmar even came here to visit this magical Buddha statue.
Adam Yue.
Ayutthaya, the correct name for Ayutthaya, is the name of the dynasty established in Thailand in the 14th century. The big city is the name of the Chinese. There are four major dynasties in the history of Thailand, namely Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, Zheng Dynasty and the current Bangkok dynasty. The Ayutthaya Dynasty was the longest in history, for a total of 417 years. At that time, Jiandu was more than 70 kilometers away from Bangkok. By the beginning of the 16th century, Europeans came here to bring new labor techniques, production tools, construction methods and commodities, and the foundation of the Ayutthaya dynasty for a hundred years. The rapid development, the development of foreign trade, the dazzling array of goods, the splendid architecture, slowly attracted the attention of neighboring Myanmar. However, the Ayutthaya dynasty only ignored the development of the economy but neglected the formation and training of the army, which led to the Great Wall dynasty being captured by the Burmese army in 1767. After the looting, the whole city was destroyed by a fire. Today, only a piece of vicissitudes remains.
The current big city remains very large, mainly looking at 6 temples, you can buy a pass for 220 baht, or the fare for a single temple is 50 baht. Of course, the most worthwhile thing to go is the remains of the Parmahatai Temple. The entire ruins are left with ruins and several complete Buddha statues, but of course it is a spectacular stupa. The Buddha head of the Bodhi tree near the gate, after hundreds of years of glory, the Buddha head and the trunk have merged into one, becoming the wonder of today. If you can take pictures, you must kneel or sit, the body can not be higher than The head of the Buddha is shown to respect.
From Bangkok to Ayutthaya, if you can borrow a car, you can see more attractions, you can also take the train.
Sophia..
The Mahathat Temple is a place to visit in the Great City. There are many Khmer style pagodas inside. One of the most famous points in this temple is the banyan tree head, which is wrapped in a Buddha's head and has a quiet feeling. If you want to take a picture, please take off your hat and kneel down to show respect, because your head cannot be higher than the head of the Buddha. The wreckage of various wreckages also reveals the glory of the past.
