Wat Intharam
Wat Intharam Worawihan Wat Intharam is a third-class royal temple of the Worawihan type. It was built during the Ayutthaya period. It was originally called Wat Bang Yi Ruean Nok and was a small temple. Later, when King Taksin established Thonburi as the capital, he established it as a royal temple. When King Taksin the Great passed away, his body was brought to be buried at Wat Intharam. Important places in Wat Intharam Worawihan include the Twin Stupas of the Nation, the Stupa containing the royal remains of King Taksin the Great and his consort, the equestrian Buddha image of King Taksin the Great, and the Wihan of King Taksin the Great. Inside, there are antiques from when he was ordained at Wat Intharam, such as the royal bed, the royal seat, and the royal portrait. The old Ubosot which contains the remains of King Taksin the Great, the twin prangs beside the new ordination hall built by Phraya Si Sahathep, Phra Phuttha Chinnawon, the principal Buddha image of the ordination hall of Wat Inthararam Worawihan, located in Tambon Mueang Mai, Amphoe Amphawa, Samut Songkhram Province
