[2025 Ningbo Attraction] Travel Guide for Waitan Bridge (Updated Feb)

Season of exhibition in Ningbo and i came across this newly opened illustration exhibition at Ningbo Museum of Art which is located at the Old Bund also known and Ytown or Laowaitan 🤩🤩 The exhibition is on the ground floor is is free of charge, chinese people would have to register with their ID cards but foreigners dont need to as there is no passport option… The illustration are all hand drawn by the artist capturing his journey through the years to different cities and countries.. alot of his work medium is based on watercolours, ink and prints but each artwork has a story to tell which you can see walking through the gallery, personally i enjoyed walking through and just observing the story in each illustration. 🤩🤩 📍Ningbo Museum of Art 🕰️ 10:00 - 17:00 ( 16:30 last admission) 💰 free #exhibition #ningbo #awesomepic

The Bund Bridge, located above the Yong River, was originally named 'Jingjia Road Cross-Yong River Bridge'. It serves as a crossing passage connecting Jiangbei District and Yinzhou District. The Bund Bridge uses a 98-meter high triangular main structure, forming an asymmetrical balance system, giving the bridge a new connotation and making it a symbol of Ningbo. The design of the bridge tower is inclined into a 'human' shape, symbolizing the cultural richness of Ningbo and emphasizing the image of this modern garden city bravely moving forward in the face of storms, with an ocean-like broad mind.
