Vøringsfossen is one of Norway's most spectacular waterfalls, located in the Maubo Valley on the edge of the Hardanger Plateau, about 18 kilometers from Eidfjord. The total drop of the waterfall is 182 meters, of which the free fall is as high as 145 meters.
