The homestay where Liu Yifei has checked in, a unique paradise for kids
Watch the stars, chase the sunset, climb treehouses, feed little sheep, finally, you can get rid of the carousel and big slides. Nature is the best companion. If you are tired of the Yanxi Lake business district, this forest-style courtyard at the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall is really worth considering.
Butler service, everything is arranged clearly a day in advance. We stayed in the North African-themed building, which has an exotic style. The entire balcony overlooks the mountains, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are spotless. The public area is great for reading and watching TV, and the decor is very tasteful. The rooms are well soundproofed, so it's not noisy at all at night. The bedding is very comfortable, clean, and tidy.
Due to the weather, we didn't have the rooftop barbecue, but we had pasta, salad, fries, etc. in the sunroom, and the taste was great! The ingredients were very fresh! Especially the breakfast provided by the homestay, full of a sense of ceremony, even the tableware was very aesthetically pleasing.
If you don't go to the Mutianyu Great Wall, navigate a few kilometers to Liuduhe Village nearby, where there is a 'Chestnut Blossom Valley' with a camping area. Kids can bring water guns or fishing tools to play in the creek, which is very cool and not crowded at all! The nearby cherry-picking gardens are also good, with many varieties of cherries, and they are very sweet!
On the small hill next to the homestay (not far, just five minutes), there are three little sheep, and there is a little cat in the coffee yard. Kids can experience the joy of 'herding sheep' without going to Xinjiang!
