This time I want to introduce Uluru, a place in central Australia. I flew from Melbourne to Ayres Rock Airport, and the flight only took about three hours. Seeing the huge rock Uluru on the plane is very different from seeing it on the ground. Only by personal experience can you know how shocking it is. I also can’t imagine how the local indigenous people survived for generations in a vast desert using waterholes and caves under the protection of large rocks formed thousands of years ago. During the three-day trip to Uluru, because I didn’t know how to drive, I rented a car and had a tour guide to explain the whole journey. However, it was the winter off-season, so it became a private tour. The sunrise and sunset scenery at Uluru are very different. The sunrise is orange-red and the sunset is fiery red, which is very special. Unfortunately, Uluru can no longer be climbed due to too many accidents, so we decided to join the Kings Canyon English tour group. Climbing the Valley of the Kings is not easy either. Starting at four in the morning, each person has to carry 2 liters of drinking water up the valley, and has to climb 500 stairs in the desert under the scorching sun before starting the official 4-hour hike. However, the scenery is really unique, and you can see natural rocks and dried fossils, coupled with the beautiful view of the Eden Pool, this trip is especially suitable for those who like mountain climbing. But there are some travel tips I can share with you: 1. It is best to go to Uluru in winter, otherwise you need to wear a mosquito mask to prevent mosquitoes from flying into your mouth 2. You must drink plenty of water and keep it from your body, otherwise you will easily become dehydrated. 3. Some hotels have swimming pools. Don’t make a fuss like me. Although it is a desert, they also have abundant underground water resources. 4. Take adequate sun protection measures, otherwise your skin color will soon become that of the aborigines. 5. The weather is really dry, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is also very large. It is better to apply skin care oil and prepare a coat. 6. Because Uluru is rich in minerals, it is best not to wear white or light-colored shoes, otherwise the color will remain on the shoes forever. 7. We spent only three days in Yulara NT, Australia. it was very hot and dry there as it was in Summer time. However, it was one of our memorable adventures! Uluru Segway tour was one of our lists. It took us about two hours to get around this amazing big rock on Segway. The guide tours were very friendly and professional. They picked us up from the hotel at 5:30 am and also provided us lovely breakfast. the tour finished around 2:30 pm. Uluru from the movie "Love Calls the Centre of the World" is really beautiful. Ayers Rock appears in different colors at different times. Fortunately, there were clouds on the first day when we watched the sunrise, which made the sunrise even more beautiful. At that hour, it was as if the world stopped. Everyone was very, very quiet and watched this beautiful natural beauty together. Dinner under the stars, take a helicopter to fly in the desert center to eat 5k French under the stars of the dinner Australia Uluru trip, my favorite experience. In the center of the world, take a helicopter to the center of the desert and have a high-level French meal. French is about 7 styles, each dish is paired with different wines, it is very tasty. The price for the entire itinerary is 800. With helicopter !! You have to book one month in advance and only receive 20 guests per day. There will be local locals singing and dancing, as well as bonfires, to enjoy the beautiful scenery after sunset and after the sun comes out. Australia 🇦🇺 has well-developed coastal cities and dense populations, but the inland areas are sparsely populated. Although many tourists come to Australia for tourism, they have never visited Alice Spring in the red soil continent, which adds a touch of mystery to this magical rock. When you step onto this red continent, come and take a look at the charm of central Australia. You can choose to rent a car and drive yourself to various attractions. The mountain range is divided into two parts, east and west, with Alice Springs as the dividing line! [One] Alice Springs Desert Park [Scenic] Leaving Anzac Hill, we headed to Alice Springs Desert Park. Three natural animal habitats are fully reproduced here: inland river, sand country and woodland [Mountain]. Many creatures live in them, and people can observe the living habits of different species up close. There are also night walk tours where you can discover many nocturnal animals unique to Australia. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12.5 for children. The entire park can be visited in about 1 hour, see Figures 5-8. Before entering the park, pay attention to the time of bird shows and don't miss it. The keepers would throw food into the air, and a few birds would spread their wings gracefully and fly over our heads, eating the food quickly and accurately, like an air force flight show. There is also an unknown bird that can pick up stones in its mouth and use them to smash ostrich eggs to eat. It seems that primates are not the only species that can use tools. You can learn about the desert ecosystem, watch rare animals such as kangaroos and emus, and participate in activities such as desert hiking, bird watching, and star observation. A good six hour ride from Alice Springs one way (yes, that is half a day on return), either join a local tour or drive and aim to stay at the resort there. It takes some serious planning because the tours from Alice Springs do not depart every day of the week. It was a wonder to come close to this sacred place where a few tribes inhabited. There were specific areas dedicated to the women of the tribes and those areas could not be photographed. Also there were rock paintings there showing how the tribes communicated vital survival information. Lots of legends also arose to interpret the features on the surface of the rock. The tour ended with a sunset barbecue with frontal views of the rock.

Upon arrival, shuttle buses were waiting outside to take me directly to Ayers Rock Resort. The resort offers various types of accommodations, from budget to high-end options. I took a morning flight and arrived around noon. After a short rest, I joined the Uluru sunset tour (pre-booked on the Ayers Rock Resort website). The tour took me to a few spots around Uluru before heading to the Sunset Viewing Area, which offers great panoramic views. They also provided light drinks and snacks, though I was too focused on photography to enjoy them. 👌Recommended Tour: 4-5 hours, including sunset viewing 👌Recommended Season: I prefer winter when the weather is dry, cold in the mornings and evenings, and comfortable during the day, so you won’t feel too hot.

As a solo traveler, I opted for the most affordable option—a dormitory. It was very clean, with a spacious shared bathroom area for both men and women. Despite sharing with 15 other people, I had my own private bed, which was perfect for the price I paid. The Ayers Rock Resort is divided into zones based on the type of accommodation, and you can either walk or take the free shuttle bus to get around. There’s also a visitor center in the middle of the resort, which is easily accessible by walking or shuttle. If you don’t want to venture far, there are a few great spots within the resort to watch the sunrise and sunset over Uluru. Here’s my itinerary (I didn’t have a car, but if you do, that would make getting around even easier!): Day 1: Check in, then consider an afternoon sunset tour to Kata Tjuta. Day 2: Trek around Uluru (you can book a tour or use the hop-on-hop-off bus). In the evening, consider booking a stargazing tour—but try to avoid nights with a full moon, as the bright moonlight can obscure the view of the galaxy. Day 3: Take a tour to another location. I chose the King’s Canyon tour, which was breathtaking. Day 4: Go on a sunrise tour to Uluru (or watch from the Ayers Rock Resort). Afterward, check out and catch your flight back to Melbourne. #2024wish Uluru in Australia is a special spot with a massive rock that's significant to the local Indigenous people. The rock is really tall and looks incredibly impressive, especially at sunset when the sky turns shades of pinkish blue. Although I didn't get up close, I've heard there are ancient paintings on the rock, sharing stories from a long time ago. There are Lookouts you can check out around Uluru, and nearby, there's another place called Kata Tjuta with interesting rocks to explore. You can take walks, stargaze at night, and enjoy tasty food. Uluru helps you learn about Indigenous culture, and they host events and parties sometimes. I even went on a night tour to see the Milky Way and tried BBQ kangaroo meat — it was a unique experience.

#fallishere I just came back from the outback and will never forget this experience. My friend and me, we did the 4 day 3 night Rock to Rock Camping Tour. Everything from pick-up until drop-off was perfectly organized. Our Guide Alex was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Watching sunrise and sunset at different locations is just one of my favorite part. Walking on the rim of the Kings Canyon was absolutely mindblowing. The colors were just incredible. Another highliy is sleeping by the bonfire under the stars. If this is also on your bucket list, you should definitely do it.

Uluru sunset. Ayers Rock changes colors with the sunset, like a burning alien object. The sky on the way home was also very beautiful. I saw a bunch of particularly gorgeous flowers. I don’t know what it is called, but it reminded me of a movie I watched not long ago, "The Adventure of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert". Three desert beauties who came from Sydney to the central desert smiled at life in adversity. At the end of the movie, the three of them put on a show on the top of the mountain. Everyone strives to live a wonderful life. Life is a show, a book, a bunch of flowers blooming on the roadside in the desert. There is no need to care about the eyes of others. Write carefully. The most beautiful bloom is a counterattack against suffering and ridicule 🌹🌞
