✔️Disneyland, this is Disney’s fifth Disneyland. The Hong Kong MTR has a dedicated railway Disney Line running between Sunny Bay Station and Disney Station. The official communication languages of the park are English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Hong Kong Disneyland features some unique attractions, two Disney-themed hotels, and a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.
✔️The Tsing Ma Bridge crosses the Ma Wan Strait and connects Tsing Yi and Ma Wan. It is one of the iconic buildings in Hong Kong. The Tsing Ma Bridge only has roadways and no sidewalks. Tourists cannot walk on the bridge for sightseeing. There is an observation deck at the Lantau Link Visitor Center located in the northwest section of Tsing Yi Island. This is the place to appreciate the Tsing Ma Bridge. Driving on the bridge, you can see the clear turquoise water on both sides, as well as the scattered small islands dotted on the sea, and you can even overlook the beautiful scenery of the green Lantau Island.
✔️Sam Shing Village Seafood Market: This is one of the famous seafood markets in Hong Kong. The seafood here is diverse and fresh. Visitors can find many different types and sizes of seafood in the market, such as lobsters, crabs, squid, shrimps, etc. Every morning, fresh seafood is delivered directly from the boat to the market, and merchants in the market will also display and sell it in a fresh way. Near the market, there are many gourmet shops offering a variety of delicious seafood dishes, which are endless aftertaste.
✔️Plover Cove Country Park, located in Plover Cove in the eastern New Territories of Hong Kong, is one of the largest country parks in Hong Kong. The park covers an area of 460 hectares, with about half covered by mountains and the other half by flat mud and sand wetlands. There are many hiking trails in the park, where visitors can enjoy beautiful landscapes and participate in a variety of outdoor sports activities.
☀️Escape the hustle and bustle of the city, drive to Hong Kong and find those romantic secrets hidden in the corners. The fairy tale world of Disneyland, the magnificent scenery of Tsing Ma Bridge, the delicious temptation of San Sheng Village Seafood Market... Every stop is a surprise, and every stay is a heartbeat.

Morning walk at Tsing Yi
#christmastrip #morningwalk #tsingyi #hk
Took a morning walk at Tsing Yi after the new year day.
Just across the road from Maritime Square / Tsing Yi MTR station, you will find a lovely park that features artificial lakes and various flowers.
The most photogenic spots are probably around the artificial lakes, with Western-style pavilions and structures nearby.
One of the bonus of visiting in January is that some trees turned reddish-brown - providing an "autumn" feeling.

Maritime Square is a new mega shopping mall offering branded name shopping, international dining, Cineart house for movie etc., conveniently connected to Tsingyi MTR station, only 2 stops to or from airport which takes only 10 mins.
Therefore it’s the great destination for visitors to shop, dine, rest, have fun or hunt for souvenirs before heading home.
Recently the roof top has been converted into a place for taking photos or for kids having fun at the Green Labyrinth or the Spring Straw Garden or simply to admire the stunning view of Hong Kong.

Tsing Yi Peak Hike (Low Difficulty)
On the 19th of January, we arrived at Tsing Yi MTR Station and took the exit out to Tsing Yi Promenade. From Maritime Square, looking across towards Lai King, we took a right and walked all the way to the end of the promenade. We took the pedestrian subway and overpass, ending up at Mayfair Gardens.
Once we got on the hiking trail, we hit three peaks (Sai Shan, Sam Chi Heung North Peak and Sam Chi Heung Middle Peak) before reaching the final peak (Sam Chi Heung).
This ‘Tsing Yi Peak’ hike is great for those who love a good view of the city. The hike gave us views over the city and we were able to see Tsing Yi, Lai King and Tsuen Wan. It also allowed us to see the massive expanse of one of the largest cargo ports in the world.
After reaching the peak, we walked back along the way we came, until we saw a path leading off, with a sign labelled ‘Ching Wah Court’. We walked down this way, arriving at a bus stop on Tsing Yi Road West, from which we took our bus home.
Here are the statistics of our hike:
• Moving Time: 1 hour 50 minutes
• Average Pace: 15.3 minutes per kilometer
• Elapsed Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
• Elevation Gain: 573 meters
• Maximum Elevation: 307 meters
I hope you can use them to effectively plan out your hike.

Tsing Yi Park
This park has many recreational facilities, such as soccer courts, basketball courts and our favourite, children playground. Aside from that, it’s a beautiful park with lakes, man made waterfalls, picnic areas, walking trails and not forgetting the path with cherry trees and maple trees making spring and autumn famous for photography.
There are 2 areas of the children playgrounds. One with the classics play equipments such as slides, bridge, bouncy horses, swings. Then right across it, are different equipments laying in different sections while climbing up the stairs. Some are for young children, some are more complicated for advance users.
Surprisingly, we find this children’s playground boring. It’s a beautiful park, and there are varieties of playground equipments, but it doesn’t attract my kids to play any longer than 20 mins. I guess it’ll be interesting for young kids age 1-4yo.
Shaded: Yes, by tall trees and a pavilion next to the playground with benches
Enclosed: No. And Tsing Yi Park is quite a big park, so make sure you look after your kids
Stroller: Friendly
Toilet: Public toilet near the entrance/ tennis courts, 5 mins from playground
Coffees: Grab one from maritime mall before you head to the park. Or just get the bottles one from vending machines.
Mommy think: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Kids think: ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Location: Tsing Luk Street, Tsing Yi
How to get there:
- MTR to Tsing Yi Station and leave from exit B, walk through the maritime mall
- Or take mini bus that gets off at Tsing Yi Estates

If you want to bring your loved one to enjoy the view, don't miss the transportation information and location of the flower beds mentioned below!
The Heart-Shaped Hydrangea Garden is located in the Tsing Yi Waterfront Park, near the sea and pedestrian paths. From afar, visitors can see the garden's unique design, and with the bright colors of the flowers, it's easy to find once you step into the park.
As for the blooming period of hydrangeas, it is usually at least one month long, so you don't need to worry about missing the chance to take photos with the flowers in full bloom!

【Another Perspective on Hong Kong】Tsing Yi Park and Tsing Yi City~
Tranquility and prosperity, glamour and decay, embracing both local and diversity, fast-paced yet slow living...
Qingyi, a very beautiful name. It is also one of the locations for many Hong Kong movies. In addition to having the busiest container port in the world, there are also many important infrastructure projects in Hong Kong located here, including the airport railway, the Qingyu Main Line, and the No. 3 Main Line, making this area the most important transportation hub in Hong Kong.
Parks built around the perimeter of Tsing Yi City are designed according to local conditions and divided into several sections: the one near the seaside is called Seaside Park, the one near Tsing Yi City is called Tsing Yi Park, and there is also a Northeast Tsing Yi Park...hehe, in fact, Hong Kong has a small land area but a large population, and there are many mountainous areas, but the per capita green space is very high. Despite the towering skyscrapers, the greenery in every residential area is also abundant. With good weather, abundant rainfall, and no frost all year round, even a stick can bloom...
The design of Qingyi City is unique, not only as a large themed mall that incorporates ocean concepts, but also as a playground for shopping, dining, and entertainment, with over a hundred shops and restaurants. It is a perfect one-stop experience for shopping, food, and leisure.~
