There are two ways to get to Ma Wan: by land or by water:

I started from Tsing Yi and took NR330 at the bus stop near Maritime Square car park. The bus will only show 330. I got off at "Shatan Plaza". The journey takes about 15 minutes, with a bus every 5-15 minutes, depending on whether it is a peak period!

Small thoughts:
Ma Wan is a very comfortable island. I have been there several times. My activities were mostly around the Beach Plaza and Ma Wan Park. This was my first time hiking in Ma Wan. It was a different feeling, seeing the city scenery from nature. It turns out that in Ma Wan, you can see the Ting Kau Bridge, Tsing Ma Bridge and Kap Shui Mun Bridge at the same time. It was super easy to climb up to Tai Leng Tau, the highest point in Ma Wan. The roads are all paved by people, and you can walk there in boots (I forgot to wear sneakers before going out, but luckily the roads are flat and easy to walk on). There are also many places to rest along the way. However, there are fewer road signs this time, and there are many forked roads. Fortunately, there are instructions on the Internet on which direction to go left or right. So I strongly recommend that if you come to Ma Wan for hiking, you should plan your route before setting off, otherwise it is easy to go the wrong way!
