𖧷Seaside specialty Taiwanese one-person one-pot𖧷
This Taiwanese restaurant is located near Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park. It specializes in one-pot per person, such as the branded Taiwanese stinky hotpot, satay beef hotpot, and Bashu grilled fish hotpot. This time I chose Shacha beef hotpot and medicinal pork hotpot.
᪥Shacha beef hotpot
There are different spicy flavors to choose from, suitable for spicy food lovers. The ingredients include beef, beef balls, baby cabbage, cloud fungus, enoki mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, tofu, corn, fried potatoes, ham, luncheon meat, Fengming rolls, etc. The beef portion is large and the quality of each piece of beef is pretty good. I like the side dishes in the pot and the shacha soup is not greasy.
᪥Medicinal pork hotpot
This soup base has a strong medicinal flavor, with cordyceps flowers, wolfberries, red dates and angelica added to it, making the ingredients in the pot full of medicinal flavor. The medicinal flavor is so refreshing! I personally think it's healthier. The pork portion was also generous and meaty! Ingredients include: pork, enoki mushrooms, fresh winter mushrooms, Fengming rolls, baby cabbage, corn, sausage and luncheon meat, etc.!
᪥Fried golden mushrooms and winter mushrooms
In addition to the special one-person-one-pot dish, there are also special pepper and salt snacks, including chicken chops, cuttlefish balls, and fried golden mushrooms, which are particularly crispy. It was my first time eating them this way.
᪥Fried squid and cuttlefish balls
A plate of six crispy cuttlefish balls. The cuttlefish balls are not too powdery and are crispy. They are the best snack while waiting for the hot pot.
Lychee Jade Dew
There are a wide variety of Taiwanese drinks here, with different levels of sweetness to choose from. You can choose slightly sugared, half sugar, or less sugar. The Lychee Jade Dew is refreshing, and I chose the less sugar one, which just neutralizes the strong flavor of the hot pot. Passion Fruit Green Research
It has a light passion fruit flavor and is a bit sweet, making it a refreshing drink to cool down.
I like to dine here in a relatively quiet environment. After eating a pot for one person, you can take a walk on the beach with your stomach full and enjoy the evening.
