Let's start with a summary, you'll regret not going to the Cotton Castle, but you'll also regret going. The place is quite special, but there is a certain degree of difference from what is advertised online. The white terraced landscapes are formed by the calcification of thermal spring water, and such a terrain is indeed worth seeing. However, due to commercialization or development reasons, it has been somewhat spoiled. The entrance fee for the Cotton Castle is 700 lira, which is less than 200 RMB~ Once inside, you can't wear shoes, you have to walk barefoot, so I recommend visiting in the spring and summer seasons, it's really cold in winter!!! And the thermal spring water in winter, it's really not hot either. We drove there ourselves, which was actually quite convenient~

#bucketlistreboot Trust me, the actual view of the thermal pool is super nice but it’s not possible to take from top to below. note that the limestone is sharp and edgy so it’s really hard to walk. I think I can give advice to bring beach shoes. Did I mention that there is no safety rail available and next to you is the cliff. A small footpath runs up the mountain face for us to use, however the travertine terraces are all off-limits, having suffered damage over time I guess or too many ppl walking on the same path. Free of charge to bath there but don’t mind ppl just put their feet into the water . Mineralised water , not thermal but spring water so it’s cooling.
