| Half-day Guide to the Popular Third Bathing Beach. Many friends ask me, "Did you go abroad again?" No, I'm at the Third Bathing Beach in Qingdao! Located at No. 3, Zhan Shan 5th Road, Shinan District, parking is difficult. We recommend taking public transport or a taxi. Recommended half-day tour of Qingdao Third Bathing Beach In the morning, take Metro Line 3, exit at Yan'an 3rd Road Station (Exit A), and walk 930 meters to the "Between Heaven and Earth" sculpture! Stay at "Between Heaven and Earth" to take photos and enjoy the scenery. With the Hai Tian Hotel in the background, you can take great photos. From here, you can look west to see the whole Third Bathing Beach. Walk along the wooden boardwalk along the sea from east to west, passing through the core area of the Third Bathing Beach. The weather in Qingdao in July is really humid and hot, but the locals say it gets worse after a whileㅠ I guess I made the right choice to go now.. The Third Beach also has a lot of tourists... but it's pretty o(≧▽≦)o In Qingdao, instead of taking a taxi, there's an app called "花小猪打车" that many locals use, so you can go at a set price on the app, so if you take a taxi, use this app because it's cheaper and the drivers are nice!! It was so hot that I didn't eat out and ordered from the hotel, but it was a huge failureㅠ I recommend just going out and eating. And the more friends you have, the more you can eat, so I recommend traveling with several people:) It was so hot that I only drank beer again. The recommended walking course is the center of the Third Beach → in front of the terrace bar at the end → toward the entrance of Soeosando. The path along the coastline is well-maintained, so You can just wear sneakers and walk lightly. There are benches along the way, and the atmosphere is really good when you hear the sound of the waves 🌊 The best time to walk is between 5:30 PM and 7 PM. As the sun sets slightly, the sunlight reflecting off the sea spreads softly, and if you walk at that timing, the surrounding scenery looks pretty as if in slow motion. On a clear day, the sunset sets red into the sea, and on a cloudy day, the entire landscape spreads out softly, creating a calm mood. The atmosphere in real life is much better than in the photos, but if you still want to capture a pretty scene, I recommend taking a silhouette pose with your back to the sea. The success rate is higher if you take a picture on a deck next to the sea rather than on the sandy beach, so that the waves and the sunset come in together. 📸 There aren't many people, and many people walk alone, so it's not noisy, and it's perfect for having 'time alone' during your trip. The yellow walls, red roofs, and winding stone paths It really feels like you're in a European alley. You absolutely must take a photo of the stairs in front of the Catholic Church. If you go in the late afternoon when the shadows get longer, there are fewer people and the background is much softer. In the evening, go to the terrace bar at the end of Third Beach! If you sit at a table and look at the ocean, the sky gradually turns red and the lights start to come on 🌇 This is the perfect time to take a great shot. When the light reflects off the glass, focus on the glass or silhouette, and if you adjust it with the ‘cold’ series of the iPhone’s default filters, the photo atmosphere will completely change! ⏰ Recommended time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM ✔️ Tip: Go out to the sandy beach and take a shadow shot. This route can be done in 1 night and 2 days if you go fast, or in 2 days if you take your time. For those who want to see the ocean, walk along streets with a European feel, and take some great photos, I sincerely recommend Qingdao!

P2～P3: Zhanqiao Pier Scenic Area, you can buy a bag of fried dough sticks as pigeon food on the beach, but pay attention to the tide and don't stay on the reefs for too long. P4: You can navigate to the Rainbow Bridge in May Fourth Square. The sea breeze is strong, so be careful to keep your tripod low when setting it up. You can also use the pillars next to you as a perfect substitute, so you don't need to bring a tripod. P5: No. 2 Bathing Beach. This sea cave is west of the sea dam. We didn't even know it existed so we didn't even think about going there, but we ate so much seafood buffet (refer to my post about seafood buffet) that we thought if we took a taxi any longer, we would end up rolling around in Korea, so it was a 30-minute walk to our hotel!! Let's take a walk along the beach and go to the hotel!! It was a place we met while doing that.. There were couples taking wedding photos in the dark, couples setting up tents, turning on mood lights, and eating delivery food, friends coming with friends to get their best shots, and friends approaching those friends and asking for work. It was just a hunting mecca, Japchae.. So fresh.. There was a stage, and someone was playing the guitar and singing a sentimental Chinese ballad. The cool sea breeze, the sound of the song, and the sound of the waves really combined to make me sit on the sandy beach without realizing how much time had passed. It was a night that I was really immersed in emotion.. Honestly, this place is mostly known to locals, but not to tourists. That's why I think I was able to fall in love with China, and in particular, the city of Qingdao. I definitely recommend coming here in the evening!! When I searched on Baidu, it said that they also have a drone show in the evening! There's no Gwangalli like that. I didn't see it, but you should watch the drone show!!

Qingdao is definitely worth a visit! Here's a guide to must-see spots and things to do! 1. Accommodation I recommend staying near Five-Four Square. It's close to most attractions. Our hotel was right above a subway station, which was super convenient! The only downside was the long wait for the elevators, but overall it was okay! Transportation ⚠️ To take the subway in Qingdao, you'll need to download the app: Qingdao Metro Most of Qingdao's attractions are clustered together. Subway Line 3 can take you to many scenic spots, and taxis are also a convenient option. 3. Attractions *Five-Four Square divides the attractions; half are on the right and half are on the left. Plan your itinerary accordingly, focusing on either the left or right side each day! 📍 Xiaoyu Mountain 🌟🌟🌟 (Free admission) Xiaoyu Mountain isn't very high, and you can reach the top in minutes. From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of Qingdao's cityscape, beaches, and the sea. The mountain is small, and the walk from there to the subway station (about 10 minutes) has a real campus-drama vibe! (You'll also pass by the Ocean University of China and filming locations for the TV show *When I Fly Towards You*). Whether you're playing in the sand or just relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze, it's very comfortable! Remember your sunscreen! I highly recommend trying the jet skis. Important note ⚠️: Be sure to haggle! The original price was 300 yuan per person, but we managed to get it down to 150 for two. 📍 No.3 Bathing Beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Light show times (except Mondays): 8:00–9:00 PM I recommend going in the evening! The light show is spectacular, and the sea breeze is refreshing. ⚠️: The waves are strong at night, so be careful around the reefs. While it's amazing to feel the waves crashing against the rocks, safety first! The rocks are covered in moss, so wear non-slip shoes! If you're lucky, you might even catch some street performers. 📍 Taidong Night Market 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 You must visit Taidong Night Market for late-night snacks! Any of the street food stalls will be delicious! You'll find everything from trendy chimney cakes and triangle-shaped milk breadsticks to local specialties. Qingdao's draft beer is amazing, and there are all sorts of flavors to try! 📍 Badaguan Scenic Area 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Every street is incredibly photogenic! You'll feel like you're in a TV show! It's close to No.2 Bathing Beach. 📍 No.2 Bathing Beach 🌟🌟🌟 The sand at No.2 Bathing Beach is coarser than at No.1, so it's a bit rough on the feet. I actually recommend the side streets near No.2 Bathing Beach more! They're great for photos! There's also a small path near the entrance that leads up a hill with castle views. 4. Food Try the Qingdao specialty *chuozi rou* (skewers)! 🍴: Lao Qingdao Chuozi Rou The *chuozi rou* is delicious, and even the pancakes are tasty on their own. Wrapped in lettuce, it's even better than Korean barbecue! 🔚 Qingdao is a truly worthwhile travel destination!
