The whole city is obsessed with pistachios! As a foodie, I was no exception and went everywhere to look for its fruit. This time I went to Tsim Sha Tsui to enjoy a themed afternoon tea with a sea view. The location is The Mistral, an Italian restaurant in InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. It is most pleasant to enjoy afternoon tea in a quiet environment with sea views. The pistachio-themed sea view afternoon tea is very rich, consisting of 4 salty and 7 sweet exquisite snacks plus muffins. The Afternoon Tea is also paired with iced/hot pistachio milk coffee. The smooth latte exudes a light nutty aroma and tastes very elegant. The 4 savory snacks each have their own unique characteristics, and the most important thing is that they taste really good. MERLANO's oily smoked salmon has a strong salty and fresh flavor, and is filled with smooth salmon mousse and topped with a green pistachio muffin. It is a delicious snack that fills your mouth with fragrance as soon as you take a bite. FEGATO D'ANATRA wraps the wicked duck liver mousse with crispy puff pastry and sprinkles the surface with tasty pistachio crumbs, promising to conquer my taste buds with its fragrant and delicious taste. COTTO E FONTIA has a super round quail egg, and the bottom layer is a spinach crepe rolled with ham and Italian soft cheese. It is full of egg aroma and has a rich salty and fragrant taste. The vanilla cream on FRANGIPANE's moist sponge cake is very tempting, and the unique nutty aroma of the pistachio cream is so attractive. BISCOTTO MORBIDO pistachio cookies are also served with cranberry jam. I am obsessed with their soft and moist texture! With plenty of high-quality chopped pistachios, these cookies are truly amazing. Mistral's TIRAMISU has always been my favorite! This ladyfingers made with fresh pistachios mixed with smooth Italian light cheese and topped with coffee are enough to win my heart. Finally, I ordered an extra foam coffee with my cat's image printed on it. I was told quietly that this service only charges the normal coffee price, and there is no extra charge for the print.
