If you want to see the Bund River View, this hotel is not recommended. Also, the price of the river view room has increased a lot, which is not necessary. 🥣Breakfast: Buffet on the first floor. The food is not particularly rich, but it tastes good and the service is good. The staff is very responsive. ☹️Cons: The hotel does not have a parking lot, so you need to use the BFC mall parking lot, which means you have to pay for parking even if you stay at the hotel! 🏋️Gym: Not big, but well-equipped. The pool is small, but it's nice to play in the water alone. There are many people from outside coming to swim, and the locker room is not very private. #christmaslights It was a vacation well spent! Three wonderful days and two awesome nights spent with family at a nice hotel by The Bund. Stayed at a luxurious hotel, had good food in nearby areas and spent the evenings roaming around feeling the warmth of Christmas 🎄🎄🎄 spirit. Such a pity that Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were so cold ❄️☃️⛄️we couldnt really go around much. But we managed to while away time by staying at the beautiful confines of our room. The second St. Regis hotel in Shanghai opened at the end of last year. The hotel lobby is perfectly matched with the huge painting "Splendid Orient" (by master Shi Qi), reflecting the prosperity of Shanghai, very grand. The front desk is on the right, with a seated check-in, and the wall is decorated with the work "Night Shanghai" by the famous Shanghai oil painter Huang Laiduo, full of atmosphere. The overall artistic style of the hotel is very compatible with the art deco and St. Regis style, but it lacks the brand's iconic spiral staircase and crystal chandelier. This time I stayed in a river view king room, and the beautiful view in front of me can be divided into two parts. There's only one on each floor, with a broad view where you can see both the Bund river view and the city view, feeling the contrast between the new and old Shanghai. The room also has a massage chair, and it's quite pleasant to have a deep massage while looking at the river view. Let's talk about the hotel's design. The public areas and rooms of the hotel are obviously not cheap in terms of materials used, and they don't look bad, but there's always a sense of old-fashionedness.
