3 days 2 nights Koh Chang trip

Koh Chang: My first time in my life. I had to go there at least once! 📌
This trip was the longest driving trip of my life. We were exhausted, and we had to make numerous stops. We left Bangkok around 8 AM and arrived at Ao Thammachat Pier around 1:30 PM. From there, we bought tickets to board the ferry. The ride took 30 minutes, but since there were a lot of cars on the day we went, we had to wait a bit longer. There were drink and snack shops on the ferry, so we didn't need to pack a lot of snacks.
Friday:
Once we reached the shore, we drove up to the island. The first part of the way up was a bit scary. We started with lunch at The U Turn Bar & Restaurant, a seafood restaurant serving made-to-order dishes at reasonable prices. Once we were full, we were ready to continue our journey. It was only a short drive to the entrance of Khlong Phlu Waterfall. We arrived around 4 PM, so we didn't go in, but we did snap a few photos of the stream at the entrance to relish the moment. We then went to feed the baby elephants at the entrance. A tray of bananas costs 50 baht. They're adorable, but the first one tends to steal some from the others. After that, we headed straight to our accommodation. I'm so excited about this place! It's so big and brand new, with ample parking and a spacious lobby. A staff member helped me push my luggage to my room. After checking in and putting away my things, I quickly changed into my clothes and went for a swim. They even have a water park! It's amazing! #MyFirstKohChang We had our fill of seafood and a delicious welcome drink afterward. The first night was a seafood set with a rich and creamy seafood tom yum soup. Luckily, there was a fire show on the day we went, which was amazing. I'd seen the first one in Krabi and thought it was exciting, but this one was even better! There were so many people playing and so many tricks. I highly recommend staying until the end. The highlight comes at the end.
Saturday:
I slept so well on the morning of Day 2. The bed was so comfortable. We went out to take photos on the beach and then had breakfast to recharge before heading out for a full day of diving. Today's activity is a full day of diving. We'll be taking a shuttle to our accommodation, diving at 4 islands, 1 beach, and 1 fishing trip. Food is provided on the boat, which is tasty and easy to eat. The team is very supportive about safety. If you want underwater photos, we can have the staff take them for you. They're beautiful. After a fun day, on the way back, we can stop by the Bang Bao community to buy food and souvenirs. Back for a luxurious beachside dinner. Delicious pizza carbonara, great mushroom soup, and refreshing coconut water. I slept like a log.
Sunday:
I slept soundly. I woke up for breakfast and was ready to head back to Bangkok.
/Koh Chang is the second largest island in Thailand, after Phuket. Upon disembarking, you'll find two sides. The left side is more natural, with famous attractions like Ao Salak Phet and numerous waterfalls. The right side is more mainstream, with business travelers and beautiful accommodations. Of course, if you're looking to experience Koh Chang, turn right. First timers, I recommend heading to the right first. There are plenty of attractions, accommodations, and restaurants. If you're looking to dive, this is the place to go./
