[Tottori itinerary sharing] 3 days and 2 nights starting from Kansai, you can charter a car to visit Tottori for 4000yen
#itineraryshare
Recently, an airline has launched flights from Hong Kong to Tottori Yonago ✈️, but there are not many flights. In fact, you don’t have to take a direct flight to Tottori. You can take JR or domestic flights to Tottori from different regions in Japan.
This time we departed from Osaka and took the JR Limited Express Super White Rabbit🚝 to reach Tottori in 2 and a half hours. If you are visiting Tottori for the first time and starting from Kansai, you can refer to this itinerary.
Day 1: Take the Super White Rabbit from JR Osaka Station to JR Tottori Station → White Rabbit Coast, White Rabbit Shrine → Sand Museum → Tottori Sand Dunes → Hotel
Day 2: JR Tottori Station→JR Iwami Station→Uradome Coast→Arasa Shrine→Tagoko Shrine→JR Iwami Station→Hotel
Day 3: Shopping near Tottori Station (Aeon, shopping street, etc.) → Take the Super White Rabbit from JR Tottori Station to Kyoto
【Must-see attractions】
1. Hakuto Coast, Hakuto Shrine🐰
Hakuto Coast is one of the most beautiful coasts in Japan. The unique white beach here is very famous. The sand on the beach is very fine, like countless white pearls scattered on the coast. Hakuto Shrine is located next to Hakuto Coast. Climb up the stone steps leading to the shrine to reach the shrine and overlook the beautiful scenery of Hakuto Coast 🤩.
2. Sand Museum, Tottori Sand Dunes🐫
The Sand Art Museum uses sand sculptures as its presentation method and takes "World Travel" as its theme, and regularly produces different themed exhibitions.
After leaving the museum, we headed to the nearby Tottori Sand Dunes, which is the largest sand dune terrain in Japan🌵. As soon as you stand on the sand dunes, you will be shocked by the endless desert landscape. The shape and texture of the dunes take on different colors as the sun hits them. When you climb up to the horseback sand dune🏜️, you can overlook the surrounding beautiful scenery. The endless Sea of Japan is in front of you, which is very magnificent.
3. Uradome Coast 🌊
Uradome Coast is the easternmost stretch of coastline in Tottori. The unique natural seawalls, caves and jagged rocks here are formed by sea erosion. Moreover, because the water is extremely clear and the transparency is as deep as 25 meters, it is rated as the highest-grade beach in Japan. View☺️. Taking a sightseeing boat is one of the most convenient and easy ways to enjoy this coast🚤.
【Must-eat food】
1. Murakami Fisheries (near the sand dunes): local seafood 丼🦀
2. Restaurant at Uradome Coast Excursion Boat Boarding Station: Special Blue Uradomi Curry🥘
3. Takahama Cafe (opposite the sand dunes): Tottori pear smoothie🍐

📸You can take many beautiful photos on horseback in Tottori Sand Dunes. It is recommended that girls wear long skirts and straw hats that contrast with the color of the sand.
📸Take a small expedition boat on the Uradome Coast. A skilled boatman will control the boat and sail into the caves, allowing passengers to have a close look at the strange rocks, wind caves and magnificent sea erosion landscape on the Uradome Coast.
【Tips】
⭐️This time, I purchased a JR pass for the Sanin-Sanyo area in advance in conjunction with the trip. Even the Super White Rabbit is within the range and can be used after returning to Kyoto.
⭐️You can reserve reserved seats on the White Rabbit. The JR pass also includes reserved seats for a designated number of times, and you can reserve them at the green window in advance.
⭐️In order to promote the tourism industry, Tottori has launched a taxi plan exclusively for foreigners. It only costs 4,000yen to charter a taxi for 3 hours to travel around Tottori. There are many routes to choose from. No reservation is required. Just go to the visitor center next to Tottori Station. Field registration.
