The resort's layout is ideal—diverse yet not overly spread out—with a reliable buggy service making it easy to get around. Several small pools near the villas offer privacy and seclusion, and the beach pool boasts excellent bar service. For true relaxation, I highly recommend booking Club access. It made our stay seamless, with tasty lunch options, afternoon tea, and a great cocktail and canapé selection in the evening. We also stayed at the Ritz-Carlton on this trip (see my other review), but for me, that property felt too disjointed and tricky to navigate. The InterContinental offers a smooth flow between areas like the sunset bar, reception, and restaurants, creating a sense of connection and ease. Yes, it's farther from the action of Chaweng, but honestly, you won’t need to go there often. The hotel provides a free shuttle service, so it never felt inconvenient. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious, and practical. My only critique is that the rooms could use a refresh due to their age, though they remain luxurious, well-styled, and impeccably clean. Overall, this has been the ultimate relaxing getaway, with outstanding service and a marvelous setting. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
