Our experience at the Ravenala was amazing, beginning even before we reached the hotel. We chose to have our wedding in Mauritius while on a family vacation, and Vanisha from the events team catered to all our requirements. She recommended the perfect secluded spot on the resort and took care of the flowers, catering, and photographer. Upon arrival, we were upgraded for free to an apartment, rather than the usual family room, which set the mood for the rest of our visit. We felt very well taken care of and the staff went above and beyond for us. Ismail from guest services often checked in to make sure our stay was perfect and assisted my parents when a leak occurred in their bathroom; it was resolved quickly! The resort offers many amenities, including excellent restaurants, water sports, a fantastic kids club, and expansive pools. Situated in the North-west of the island, it provides the most stunning sunsets! Our 12-night stay flew by, and we were especially saddened to leave as staff members waved us off like family while we sat in our transfer to the airport. For those seeking an ideal family resort with a genuine Mauritian touch, Ravenala is the place to be!

Our stay at Ravenala Attitude with our 14-month-old was delightful. The resort is stunning and tranquil, and the beach was where we spent most of our time. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making traveling with a little one easier. I also celebrated my 36th birthday there, and they organized a memorable dinner on the beach — an unforgettable experience! Special thanks to Maeva, who was wonderful. She regularly checked on our baby and kept us informed about daily activities, which added a personal touch and made us feel cared for. We had an amazing time overall and highly recommend Ravenala Attitude for families.

This was our second trip to Mauritius but our first stay at Attitude Hotels, and the first with our children. The Ravenala was ideal. It was easy to reach from the airport, with a warm welcome and staff eager to assist. Our family suite was ideal, with separate sleeping areas for the kids and us, and a spacious balcony. I appreciated the hotel's sustainability efforts, especially the self-fill minibar. Plenty of activities were available at the kids club, beach, and evening entertainment. The food was exceptional—buffet dining twice and a la carte the rest of the time. Delicious! Service around the pool was great, with staff quickly remembering our preferences. We used the hotel taxi service and the same driver took care of us throughout our stay, helping us explore various places and shop locally as needed. We also visited a sister Attitude Hotel for a catamaran trip, which was a highlight for the kids and a fantastic day well-organized by attentive staff. Highly recommend!

The Ravenala ensured our comfort from the moment we arrived. We began with a guided tour of the hotel, highlighting expansive pools, numerous bars and restaurants, and complimentary reef-safe sunscreen available for guests. The customer service was superb, and we can't commend Mohazir and Shivam (the poolside waiters) enough—they frequently refreshed drinks and remembered our favorites, anticipating our desires before ordering, which was truly the best service we've experienced. The activity team, Maeva, Anousha, and Michael, were fantastic; they consistently brought energy and taught local games, led aqua aerobics, and provided a Creole lesson. Naturally, the scenery is stunning, and we took advantage of the free water sports (kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkelling) nearly every day to explore local marine life. The food and drinks were top-notch, especially in the a la carte restaurants, most of which are included with the all-inclusive plan, offering excellent value for money. We were impressed by the hotel's impressive sustainability efforts (e.g., compostable water bottles, bulk goods over disposable packaging), which we haven't observed in similar hotels. Overall, we had an amazing holiday and will definitely return!

We had an incredible and unforgettable stay at Ravenala. The delicious food offered so many options, with TabaJ's local cuisine being my personal favorite. The rooms were both lovely and spotless. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Entertainment staff were a blast! Just came back from a 9-night stay at this fantastic hotel with my husband and two teenage daughters. From the start, check-in was warm and uplifting thanks to Alessandra, who took care of us and frequently checked in during our visit. A huge thank you to Alessandra—already missing you! The friendly entertainment team kept us engaged with diverse activities on the beach and in the evenings. Anousha and I enjoyed thrilling Karem competitions on the beach, a game I thoroughly enjoyed. Michael led an excellent water aerobics class and got my daughters involved in volleyball and other activities. A big shout out to Mauva, who had us dancing along with great music while DJing. Raju at the bar prepared the best drinks, and Kamlesh Bhai at the juice hut provided the sweetest, juiciest coconuts! The food was excellent, offering plenty of options, including gluten-free choices for me. Akash took great care of us during our meals at the buffet restaurant. Staying at this hotel felt like gaining a second family in Mauritius. I would love to return someday. Thank you all!

One of the true highlights of my time in Mauritius was encountering Michael, who guides the hotel’s activities. His zeal and enthusiasm were evident daily, and his lively energy added tremendous life to the experience. Michael possesses a remarkable talent for gathering people and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. He talks with sincere pride about his island, and it's apparent he enjoys sharing its culture and beauty with guests. He genuinely enhanced my stay and left a memorable impression.

Our family vacation was significantly improved by the warm and attentive personnel at the hotel. While all staff members were wonderful, a few stood out in particular. Pawan, a waiter at Mozaik, always took time to ensure our food and drinks were perfect, offering friendly interactions. Kevin from the Gym/Sports village had an amazing enthusiasm, remembering everyone's name and making every visit feel special. He turned our beach and sports experiences into key highlights of our trip. The boathouse staff were exceptional, especially Kevin, who created an enjoyable atmosphere on the water. At Kat no, a tall waiter impressed us, though his name slips my mind. While we interacted with these individuals significantly, every member of the Ravenala team, from the cleaning staff to front of house greeters, truly inspired our desire to return. Our stay at The Ravenala Hotel made our Mauritius trip an unforgettable experience. The food was outstanding, and as a vegetarian, I appreciated the wide selection of dishes available. The all-inclusive options offered convenient access to food and drinks throughout the day. The changing room/showers for arrival and departure are unmatched by any past holiday experience. The sports village boasts the best gym I've encountered on such a trip, motivating me to visit daily. The abundant water activities included in the package also encouraged my children (ages 17 and 19) to enjoy the beach amenities. Our week-long visit to the Ravenala at the end of July was delightful. Although our rooms weren't ready when we arrived in the morning, we were able to enjoy lunch and drinks as part of the all-inclusive package and refresh ourselves in a shower room. We were welcomed with tea and soothing hot towels. Our rooms were conveniently located next to each other, offering lots of space and charming, relaxed decor. Plenty of storage was available, and the beds were very comfortable! Despite not needing the air conditioning, it worked well. The beach was a highlight; it featured plentiful loungers and a safe swimming bay. The pool area was appealing, and staff regularly kept it clean. Included watersports were a nice advantage! The beach bar offered cozy seating, and the towel exchange gave us nice, big towels. Dining at the all-inclusive restaurants required planning, as they fill up quickly. The main buffet was fine, but food was slightly cold one evening when we arrived later—good vegan options though. Madam Mings and the Mediterranean restaurant were excellent, while O Beach provided charming candlelight dining on the sand. This overall lovely experience is recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in a serene beach setting.

We chose this hotel for our wedding， and it was the most incredible day (and holiday) ever. Vanisha is the best events planner we could ask for. She organized everything meticulously， stayed in contact， and handled every detail perfectly. The flowers and the Riviera restaurant setup were stunning. This hotel is ideal for a beach wedding， and we'd highly recommend it—every moment was a joy. Huge thanks to Vanisha， Emily， and the entire team for making our day flawless! From the beachfront drinks after the ceremony to the meal and DJ， we were all well-cared for. The hotel was overall fantastic. The a La carte restaurants were excellent， especially O and Madam Ming. The buffet offered tasty food， and the chefs were friendly， though the wait staff were less attentive—seemed indifferent when the coffee machines were down and were slow to clear tables during busy times. Despite this， other staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful， delivering great service. The Taba J food truck is fantastic， especially the tandoori chicken wrap. You can enjoy free glass-bottom boat trips from the boathouse， which you need to book， and there's a wonderful kids play area and club. The swimming pools are well-sized. My favorite spot was the beach—the water was calm， and it was peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel， especially for weddings. Mauritius is truly a beautiful place.

We stayed in room 2112， which was easy to remember. We appreciated the shuttle pick-up from the airport. At the hotel， we were welcomed with a nice drink and a fresh towel. Hans was very nice; he showed us to our room， told us where breakfast would be， and explained how to book a table at their themed restaurant. Our stay was truly memorable. Each member of the staff—Vinaye， Andreas， Avishek， Sachin， Kinsley， and Akash—did a great job. They were all friendly and constantly smiling， offering outstanding hospitality. Druv/Druva， in particular， made our vacation exceptional with his warm charm. Greetings from Austria!

Our group of 14 team members had a wonderful all-inclusive day package at Ravenala; it was an experience to remember. The day started with a tea break featuring a selection of pastries， juice， and coffee that kept our energy up all day. The resort provided a variety of outdoor activities that were entertaining and great for team building. The all-inclusive package delivered great value， mixing delicious meals， fun outdoor activities， and excellent service. It was the ideal place for team bonding and unwinding. Although the resort is quite old and the guest room buildings are somewhat outdated, the exterior is clean. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, including the veranda, but the interior and furnishings are somewhat old, and the cleaning is not thorough. There are several restaurants, but the main buffet restaurant, Mosaic Restaurant, has a limited menu selection. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Despite its many advantages, the resort is somewhat disappointing in terms of value for money.
