As I stepped onto the tram, I felt particularly excited. When the tram slowly started to ascend, my view began to change gradually. The beauty of Hong Kong Island unfolded before my eyes as the cityscape slowly emerged at the foot of the mountain. At the beginning, the tram's slope is very steep, giving a slight thrill. Trees and flowers on both sides quickly recede from the window, and as the altitude increases, the distant Victoria Harbour, the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island, and even Kowloon on the opposite side gradually reveal themselves. The air is filled with a slight chill, making it particularly comfortable. After about ten minutes, the tram finally reaches the top of Victoria Peak. Upon disembarking, I was greeted by a spectacular and magnificent view. Standing on the observation deck at the peak, the entire scenery of Hong Kong is laid out before you, especially at sunset when the golden sunlight casts shimmering reflections on the sea, creating an incredibly beautiful sight. The Peak Tram in Hong Kong is a must-visit attraction. The scenery during the day and night each has its own charm. This time, I visited during the day and found the view to be really impressive. I believe the night view, with the city lights, would be even more beautiful. It's also very worthwhile to come up at night, but there will be more people going down, so you might have to wait. 📍Tsim Sha Tsui - Day 1 We arrived at TST by Bus A21 from the bus station. We stayed at Venetian Hostel for 3 nights and 4 days. The place is very convenient. It is near the MTR station, Jollibee, the famous bakehouse, ISquare, Filipino store and Avenue of stars. We roam around TST and watched the Symphony of lights in the evening. 📍The Peak Tram - Day 2 We started our day 2 traveling to the Peak Tram 🚊 we went by MTR. I suggest to purchase the Octopus Card. It cost only 200 Hkd. 📍 Ngong Ping 360 cable car In the afternoon, we went to Ngong ping 360 cable car by MTR. Everything is very convenient. You just have to follow the maps. 📍Disneyland - Day 3 The happiest place on Earth, indeed ❤️ we decided to go to Disneyland on Tuesday coz lesser people and it is true! We spent our day from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm there. Exit from J2 exit when arriving at Central MTR station. Follow the signs available, walk about 10-15 minutes to reach the terminus to take the tram. It is pretty easy when you exit from J2, clear signs and directions are available along the road! 2. Have your octopus card prepared or pre book your slots from Trip.com app so the admission would be seamless. There is no need to queue for the tickets at the terminus! 3. Visit on weekdays to avoid crowds. The tickets are also cheaper on weekdays! 4. Allocate around 2-3 hours at the Peak for a full experience at the peak. Visiting Victoria Peak in Hong Kong is a must! Taking the vintage tram up the mountain to see Victoria Harbour and the sunset night view will truly amaze you. - 🚠Transportation guide: 1. Effort-saving method - Tram up and down the mountain: Exit from J2, follow the signs or navigate to "Peak Tram", it's about five or six hundred meters away 2. Bus up, tram down: Take bus X15 from the Admiralty MTR station exit to go up the mountain, with both routes having a bus about every 20 minutes 3. Hike up, tram down: Get off at the University of Hong Kong station and exit from A2, turn left at the exit to enter the entire hiking route~ It's roughly from the Graduate House of the University of Hong Kong—Morning Trail at Lung Fu Shan—Hatton Road—Peak. Make sure to go along Lugard Road, where you can see the full view of Victoria Harbour. To justify that, the tram would actually go uphill in 45 degree slope; such a steep hill though.
