The Kunlun Mountains start from the Pamir Plateau in the west. Almost all major mountain ranges in Asia originate here, such as the Himalayas, Tianshan, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush. However, the Kunlun Mountains are the longest among them, stretching over 2,500 kilometers from west to east to eastern Qinghai, making it the longest mountain range in Asia, hence called the 'Ancestor of Ten Thousand Mountains.'
