The Tomb Exhibition Area of the Nanyue King Museum (Research Center for the History of Nanyue in the Western Han Dynasty) is located at No. 867, Jiefang North Road. It was formerly the Museum of the Nanyue King in the Western Han Dynasty. The Nanyue King's Tomb was excavated in June 1983, and the museum was built on the original site of the cemetery. It mainly displays the original site of the Nanyue King's Tomb and its unearthed cultural relics. Compared with other museums, its highlight is the treasure "Silk Jade Clothes". The Silk Jade Clothes of the Nanyue King is a set of complete jade clothes excavated in my country so far, which is worth seeing. In addition, this museum was built on the original site of the cemetery, so it contains the Nanyue King's Tomb. To the east of the museum is a three-story comprehensive exhibition building, and to the north is a two-story main exhibition building. The three buildings are connected as a whole by a surrounding corridor. There are a total of 10 exhibition halls in the museum. The permanent exhibitions in the museum include cultural relics exhibitions and porcelain pillow exhibitions, and there are also temporary exhibitions from time to time. The cultural relics exhibition is the main part of the museum, mainly the unearthed cultural relics from the tomb of Zhao Mo, the king of Nanyue. More than 10,000 burial objects of various types were unearthed from the tomb. The exhibition is divided into five units: Emperor Wen's Golden Seal, Treasures in the Main Chamber, Human Sacrifices in the Tomb, Treasures in the Imperial Treasury, and Bells and Dings. There are a large number of jade articles in the collection, such as green jade horn cups, 11 sets of jade accessories, 58 jade sword ornaments, etc., which are all major discoveries in Han jade. The most precious jade articles are "silk thread jade clothes", "plate high foot cup", and "dragon and phoenix pattern double ring jade pendant". The dragon and phoenix pattern double ring jade pendant is a decorative jade article, unearthed from the right eye of the tomb owner, carved from green and white jade, the jade pendant is divided into two circles, the inner circle is carved with a swimming dragon, and the outer circle is carved with a phoenix. Its shape and pattern were selected as the emblem of the Western Han Dynasty Nanyue King Museum.
