Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence Memorial Museum
Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence Memorial Museum is located in Cuiheng Village, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. It was established in 1956 and covers an area of 200,000 square meters.
The museum consists of three institutions: "Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence Memorial Museum", "Zhongshan Folk Customs", and "Zhongshan Sun Yat-sen Research Institute". It is divided into six major areas: Sun Yat-sen Memorial Exhibition Area, Cuiheng Residential Exhibition Area, Agricultural Culture Exhibition Area, Yang Yin and Lu Haodong Memorial Exhibition Area, Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area, and other exhibition areas.
In May 2008, the museum was rated as a national first-class museum. In November 2016, it became a national 5A-level tourist attraction. In December 2016, it was included in the "National Red Tourism Scenic Spots Directory". In December 2017, it was selected as the first batch of national primary and secondary school research and practice education bases.
