Breathtaking view of Da Nang city
The trip to Marble Mountain is an amazing experience and definitely worth the trip.
Travel tip-wear comfortably as it can get really hot and humid depending on the month of your visit. Get sports shoes or suitable walking shoes if you plan to hike to the top.
The area comprises of many caves and Buddha Statues. In one of the cave, you can spot many interesting figures on the rock and a “gate to heaven” opening by looking up.

Da Nang, a seaside paradise of delightful experience
#beachaholic
This beach city in Vietnam captivates with its dazzling shores, warm hospitality, and vibrant culture. With its golden sandy beaches stretching along the crystal-clear waters of the East Sea, Da Nang offers a coastal haven for relaxation and fun.
Sunrise or sunset on Son Tra mountain is pure magic, casting a golden glow over the city and setting the stage for an exciting day ahead.
The iconic Dragon Bridge illuminates the night sky, delighting visitors with its fire and water displays. The Han River's reflections add to the city's enchantment, best enjoyed during a cruise.
Da Nang's cultural richness is evident in the Marble Mountains, home to sacred pagodas and mystical caves. The nearby Hoi An Ancient Town, with its lantern-lit streets and charming architecture, is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. These 2 attractions are reviewed by me, you all can read for more information.
For food lovers, Da Nang's vibrant street food scene tantalizes taste buds with local delicacies like banh mi and mi quang.
Da Nang, also as my hometown, is an ideal destination for those seeking a perfect blend of beach bliss, cultural exploration, and delectable cuisine. The city's allure, vibrant energy, and coastal charm make it a trip of delightful experiences and cherished memories.

The Marble mountains in Da Nang
Located just on the outskirts of Da Nang is the marble mountain. It is a great place to hike and is not too difficult so ideal for all ages and physicality. At the summit, you are rewarded with beautiful views over the sea one way, and the city in the opposite direction. The mountains are easy to get to and a stopping off point towards Hoi An.

hikes with stunning view and caves to explore
#2023travelwish
this is one of places that I would say worth visiting when you are in Da Nang. apparently it is free now due to the pandemic for the last 2 years. there are 2 options to go up, either do the hike or take the elevator ( not free of charge) and walk till the top! the view up there is phenomenal, and the hike itself was a bit challenging, but it was totally worth it!! there are few caves to explore and pavilions!! beautiful place! #tripblazers #fallingforfall #beachlife

#celebratewithtrip
Are you someone that will not mind visiting places of worship or would like to find a temple where you can check out many different sights and see different things? DO VISIT this temple where you can find various statue and also sculptures, some made of marble and also some in caves.. Love that the place is well maintained but do prepare to climb many steps to reach here.
Do wear a good pair of covered shoes when here to prevent falls and cushion against the long flight of stairs.

Five Elements Mountains
#celebratewithtrip
Marble Mountains is a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, around 15 kilometers south of Danang city.
The five mountains are named after the five elements: Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth. All the mountains have cave entrances and numerous tunnels, several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains, making this a tourist attraction.
There is a lift that will bring you to several Buddhist and Hindu grottoes with additional fees. The grottoes cravings show depictions of religious scenes carved out the marble and impressive statues.
Linh Ung Pagoda Marble Mountain is one of the three Linh Ung Pagoda in Danang and it is the oldest of the three Pagoda, built in 1825.The pagoda is surrounded by mountains and trees, making the atmosphere there very fresh and comfortable. The white buddha statue is a prominent feature of the pagoda. It back facing the mountains while its front face the pagoda.

Danang: Marble Mountain
You can take a taxi from main city to here only takes about 20mins. You'll see an amazing panoramic view from the top of a mountain. Great place for a mini hike and trek to sweat it out.
Definitely go early morning as it gets hot and humid after 10am.

Am Phu Cave - Da Nang, Vietnam
In the Marble Mountains there is a huge cave known as Am Phu (Hell Cave). The entrance to the cave is separate from the Marble Mountains and paid separately, do not confuse it with one of the two entrances.
It is a natural cave, inside which they recreated the atmosphere of heaven and hell in the view of Buddhists. Scenes of hellish torment are complemented by appropriate lighting and sound effects, which together can create an eerie feeling for the most impressionable visitors. But don't expect it to be scary here. In fact, it is rather funny here, and you can safely visit the cave with your children.

Marble Mountains - Da Nang, Vietnam
The Marble Mountains in Da Nang is the most popular attraction in the area. The mountains are located 7 km from Da Nang town. It’s easy to get there by taxi, bike or by public bus.
The mountains consist of five stone hills, each of which, according to local ideas, means one of the five elements of the universe and has a corresponding name.
Mount Thuy Son (Ngon Thuy Son or Water Mountain) is the only one equipped for tourists to visit: paths and steps, recreation areas have been built, and there are decorative lighting in the caves.
Here you can visit several caves with shrines and temples, climb one of the two viewing platforms. In addition to the caves, along the way you will see various Buddhist pagodas and temples.

You must visit if you are fascinated by the Marble Mountains from its extraordinary scene.

Wuxing Mountain is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the suburbs of Da Nang, Vietnam. It was originally a Haixin Island, and the geological changes of many years have resulted in forming so many mountains on land. The temples, pagodas, and gates of Wuxing Mountain are all south-Asian style buildings. They are almost entirely Chinese inspired and you cannot see the signs in current Vietnamese characters anywhere. The temple architecture and style are similar to those of China's Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Fujian and Taiwan. The various murals on the walls are also full of Chinese characters. One can see the profound influence of the Central Plain's culture on Vietnamese culture. The Wuxing Mountain is a combination of typical cave landscapes and odd-shaped stones. It is quite a unique experience to visit this place. Learn about the history of Vietnam and feel the Vietnamese culture here. Worth a walk!

Great preservation of culture and history
#vietnamtrip
Great preservation of culture and history. Would recommend a visit and actually spend some time with the guides.
Marble Mountain is more than a place to worship the sacred buddhas and unique caves and rocks, but it is also a fantastic hiking trail. As someone who only recently started enjoying hiking as of last year, finding hiking trails in south east Asia is not easy really far away or too hot. Marble hills in Danang offer the perfect opportunity for hiking and exploring.

Exploring Danang’s Iconic Mountain
One of the most tourist places to go in Danang is Marble Mountain where you can experience the rich cultural heritage of Marble Mountain, which is home to ancient pagodas, sacred caves, and intricate marble sculptures dating back centuries. There are many adventure opportunities at Marble Mountain, such as exploring hidden caves, climbing to the mountain’s summit, etc but however please do it with care. It could be quite dangerous so do hold the safety rings attached to the rock (see the last pic). This is one of the mountain with countless opportunities for breathtaking photographs against the backdrop of stunning natural scenery and ancient architecture. The plus point is that you can take the lift up to the entrance for a small fee of 20k VND. So head down to Marble Mountain when in Danang to begin the cave adventure 😈🙌🏻 #danangtrip #freehotelstay #vietnamtrip #Cherryblossom2024

The Marble Mountains
#vietnamtrip The caves and the mountains are really nice and the views are worth it! There are 2 caves, a small one having 2-3 spots and a bigger one having multiple spots . Really nice little walk. Bear in mind you have to be slightly fit to do this as there’s a lot of steps and steep climbs. You need to pay 40k per person for the mountain. Then 20k for a separate cave down the bottom. The Heaven staircase climb up is easy but down you’ll need to fit through some tight gaps. Also it is a marble mountain so it is a bit slippery

The Marble Mountains
#danangtrip Great way for a half day trip. We only had an hour and didn't write see everything, not knowing there were much more sites on the mountain other than a marble temple. There are things to climb and a shrine in a cave and a waterfall I think amongst other marble temples and ornaments. I recommend bringing solid shoes for a hike. Sneakers will also do. There are beautiful view points and nature to be enjoyed. If you're sort on time, take the lift.

#danangtrip Beautiful Scenery!
Marble Mountains located in Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng. It’s all natural rocky mountains with profound history.
Mountains are high but not hard to climb. It’s more like elevated walking paths unless you want to climb to the top then it’s challenging. However, there’s an elevator for those who do not want to climb.
On the base of the mountains there are thousands of shops which sell stones, marble souvenirs or even large statues of almost everything you can think of.
It’s worth to visit!!!

Transportation: You can charter a car/Grab/Taxi🥰🥰🥰
Personal safety equipment: Hiking shoes, gloves and a good sense of safety👍👍👍
Difficulty (five stars being the most difficult): ⭐⭐⭐
Impressions: It is a trail with challenges, the path is narrow, the ground is often uneven and slippery, and the stairs are long and steep, so you must be careful and not be distracted!💪💪💪 But the scenery along the way is pleasing, the stone walls are carved with Buddha statues and scriptures, bringing out the principles of good and evil in life and reflection, it is not an ordinary hiking trail!💖💖💖

Wonder Caves of Danang
Marble Mountains Danang - Vietnam!
This place has a special significance for the people of Central Vietnam and is home to a network of caves, tunnels, towers, and pagodas. The entrance fee is quite low. If visitors do not want to climb Water Mountain, elevator is an option to go up with some fees.
There are half a dozen large caves hidden away in the Marble Mountains. All caves have unique features and some have fascinating stories of being discovered.
👉 Huyen Khong Cave - The largest of the caves. The openings in ceiling allow shafts of light to pierce the dark cavern, creating dramatic spotlights inside the cave.
👉 Hoa Nghiem Cave - Watched over by a beautiful 400-year-old stone statue of Lady Buddha.
👉 Van Thong Cave - Means “Way to the Heaven”. Visitors can climb up to high elevations of the mountain by tunnel-like grotto.
👉 Am Phu Cave - Take a trip to heaven and hell. The cave has 2 sets of stairs, one up to heaven and the other down to hell. The cave features a harmonious combination of folklore and Buddhism's valuable philosophy of humanity.

Ever wanted to see a #temple in a #cave? Then make sure to visit Marble Mountain in #vietnam! Just a short motorbike ride from downtown #danang, this mountain is an easy hike to the peak. Once you’ve climbed to the topic, you can explore the aforementioned temple cave. Outside of the cave, there’s additional temple scenery you can enjoy, with beautiful marble carvings surrounding the area. We did a donation-based tour through christinas.vn and it did not disappoint. Our tour guides were local university students who gave us a lot of really interesting information about the mountain and its history in English. I would highly recommend booking these tours if you are in Da Nang.
