It wasn’t overly busy when I passed by which helped to avoid it feeling too touristy an area, but there’s still plenty of people nearby offering taxi and horse rides. A clean area and a spot everyone should check out on a visit to the city.

This is my 4th visit to Manila, with the experience of the previous 3 times, there is no sense of unfamiliarity at all, so there is no particular concern about those recent problems. The only concern was only the typhoon issue, the 1st typhoon formed in the Philippines on the 26th of May, and I also happened to arrive however, luck was kind of good, only the night of the 26th met with heavy rain in Manila, and the weather was good on the 27th! There are not many attractions in Manila, they are in two areas, you can play a day at a fairly leisurely pace. My personal favourite is the Agustin Church, and the Ferris wheel sunset, enough netflix, the atmosphere is full of sense! 1 Day Tour Route Chinatown - Santiago Castle - Manila Cathedral - St Augustine's Church - Lunch in King City - Rizal Park - Manila Bay - Ferris Wheel on the beach - Dinner and shopping at the malls Tour Duration Castle tour takes 1h, Manila Cathedral 30min, St Augustine's Cathedral + Museum 1.5h.
