I have been “The Local” twice since 2015 and found this restaurant very decent with delicious food and good price. The restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes. The prices are quite reasonable. The only drawback is too many tourists and hence you might need to wait if you don’t make a reservation ahead. Located near the Bang Na line in Bangkok, Thailand, Chocolate Ville is a charming destination that offers a delightful experience. After a 40-minute drive from the city, visitors can enter for a fee of THB150 per person. Often referred to as the 'Disneyland of Thailand,' it also resembles the iconic Universal Studios globe (located near the restrooms). A walk around the left side leads to the Halloween photo zone, and there are numerous photo spots throughout the venue. At 10 PM, visitors can enjoy a boat show. Before leaving, don't forget to exchange your ticket for a scoop of ice cream at the ice cream house—I chose vanilla, and it was delightful!

I have long wanted to check in at The Local in Bangkok. After all, it is recommended by Michelin for 7 consecutive years + must-eat list! The conclusion after the meat test is: very attentive traditional Thai cuisine! The environment is comfortable, the ingredients are of high quality, some dishes are very special, but they are not amazing. If you live nearby, you can check in, but there is no need to check in specially. The price is relatively small and expensive~ ⭐️ Recommend a few delicious and special dishes that don’t step on thunder: 1️⃣ Appetizer platter: a platter composed of five Thai snacks, with familiar lotus leaf roast chicken, and some unseen ones, each with distinctive characteristics, and the taste is not the same, as an appetizer is very ok! 2️⃣ Crab salad: It's a wonderful taste I've never tasted before! The first bite was amazing. It was a salad that blended crab meat, coconut milk, various Thai spices, and a vegetable leaf that I couldn't recognize! Highly recommended! 3️⃣ Fried pork belly: The meat is super crispy, with Thai chili sauce, one bite at a time is so cool! Personally, I still think that pork belly is more fragrant than pork neck. If you want to control calories, pork neck is also recommended! 4️⃣ Thai dessert platter: If there are many people, the platter here is worth a try! The dessert platter is also full of no thunder! In addition to traditional Thai desserts, ice cream is also super delicious! 5️⃣ Lemon special drink: There are many types of drinks in the store, and the wine list is a full book. The main push is two lemon drinks. The main special thing is this lemon, the taste is very special! It's a bit sourer than what we usually drink, but it has a more complex taste, super refreshing and greasy! ⚠️ It is not recommended to order dishes similar to Tom Yum Goong and hollow vegetables here.
